An authentic Italian Bistro. This small restaurant is such a lovely little Italian find! Our hotel, the Ritz, recommended it as a casual & walkable neighborhood restaurant. The food was fabulous & the service was also wonderful. We enjoyed salads, pasta & veal limone with profiteroles for a sweet finish. Cocktails & wine selection also impressive. So fabulous!
We loved our dinner selections which included the Osso buco, shrimp risotto, & pasta with chorizo. Service was efficient & helpful. We happened to be at Bis when there were multiple birthday celebrations ongoing, thus the noise level was high. Great experience!
I received time & time again the most accommodating & absolute best service from the owner & staff out of any restaurant I've been to in downtown Montreal. I would give 6 stars across the board if I could.
We've been dining at Bis for over 20 years. The food & service are always excellent. Whether it's pasta, seafood or veal we have never had a mediocre meal here. We have brought many friends with us over the years & they are always impressed.

Absolutely amazing experience ! We were a group of 12 & they managed to accommodate us last minute on Grand Prix Weekend. The staff were incredibly friendly & attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed despite the busy atmosphere. The food was exceptional & delicious dishes. Highly recommend this place.

walked in at 11 pm on F1 weekend & we were greeted with, by far, the best service i've received in montreal. We were a group of 12 people & not a minute went by where we were left unattended by the waiters & the staff. The food was fantastic & so was the wine. Superb hospitality & experience, HIGHLY recommend choosing Bis! Grazie mille per tutto!!
Bonjour, Ce qui m'a déplu, c'était le service qui était trop rapide & impersonnel, comme si on était dans un restaurant fast-food. Les serveurs semblaient pressés de servir & débarrasser les tables.
Showed up with no reservation, but they still took us in! They all provided fantastic service, including making an iced coffee that wasn't on the menu! Definitely worth the trip, hope to come back again next year!
Went to Bis this past weekend & it was an amazing time. Served by Paloma who provided excellent service. She picked us out a delicious wine from their large selection that our family loved! Food was amazing, with both quality & quantity. All around great experience!
