The restaurant is really cute & cozy & the service was good. It's a nice setting for a romantic dinner. The veal shank with the risotto was delicious & I enjoyed the Cucu Coco cocktail & the dessert. On the other hand, I didn't like the calamari. It was oily & it needed more seasoning. I would also suggest maybe changing the chairs or the upholstery. Overall, I had a good experience there.
The food was delicious but when we're paying for our meal a worker that was not our original friendly waiter came over & when it came time to tip was extremely overbearing. We wanted to tip as an actual full number rather than the percentage option & the worker raised his voice at us & was extremely rude. This response was extremely unwarranted & disappointing as he assumed we weren't going to tip because we were french (which could not be further from the truth). Needless to say we won't be coming back, which is a shame because the food was incredible.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Bis Restorante! Very enjoyable atmosphere & the food is flavourful, a great medley of fine cuisine & comfort food. The service was outstanding with great recommendations from the servers. Definitely a place i would recommend whenever i have to say "I know a good italian place if you're hungry".

A lovely evening of incredible food, perfect drinks, & attentive but not intrusive service. Whenever we are in Montreal we make a point of dining at Bis - the best shrimp risotto my husband has ever had!
We had a fantastic evening! Great food, service & ambiance. We had a leisurely meal; was so nice to not feel rushed at any point. Amazing music play list too. Will definitely return.
My 1st time there. Staff are nice & friendly. Decor is old & dated. I did not find it clean, specially hallway & stairs leading to bathroom. Lots of garbage outside side door!
