Kind of confused by all the 5 star reviews. I had the boneless wings, I found the chicken hard, flavorless (like boiled chicken) & rubbery. The batter didn't have a nice flavor either, just of old oil & it felt like the dough wasn't fresh.. crispy is normal but this was hard, almost chewy - not enjoyable to eat. The fries tasted overcooked with an old oil flavor.. 😕 disappointed. Maybe the 5 stars I see everywhere is about the staff because they seemed nice🤷
Response to owner: unfortunately I wasn't able to let a server know that it wasn't enjoyable since this was takeout. Had I been there, I'm not really sure what they could have done. It would have taken a while to do another batch of batter & season it.. it just wasn't good for the reasons I mentioned originally
The drink I had was very nice-I loved it. The General Tao chicken was good too. However, I had asked for a small salad, like the little cup I showed in the photo. The waitress said they had kale salad, so I said okay. But then they brought me a big bowl of salad, like the one in the photo. The kale salad was too salty-I couldn't even finish it. When I told her it was too salty, she didn't respond or say anything at all. Maybe they were too busy to care. I also asked them for a knife because they didn't give us enough utensils, but she forgot that too.

The Birdhouse team is great! We keep going back for more fun times. We are never disappointed, the staff is very engaging & offers great service. Amazing tacos, kale salad & tuna bowl they named'Wicked' sooooo tasty!

We had a fantastic experience at Birdhouse! The food was delicious fresh, flavourful, & perfectly cooked. What really made the evening special was our waiter, Ben. He was attentive, friendly, & made great recommendations. His service added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend & will definitely be back!

We went on a Friday night for an impromptu dinner with our kids.. We had no reservations but the staff was nice enough to accommodate us.. Service by Luca was quick & friendly.. Food was excellent.. Smash burger & gorgonzola burger were delicious, as well as the bbq Mac & cheese.. Boneless wings were tasty.. Prices are reasonable & portions are big.. Highly recommended
The food has always been very good, especially the Cauliflower Bites, the Fish Tacos 🌮, wings, & Chicken Dinner, although on our last visit, the Crispy Chicken had run out by 7pm. My husband, therefore, had to have a second choice (Gorgonzola Burger,) which was dry, & he said quite tasteless. A shame. The fries are generally too dark for me (can seem overcooked). Prices are good, & the sauces are delicious. Their salads are great, not overpriced, & are more than just leaves. The staff are lovely too. Conversation is difficult if there is a lot of you, when the music is too loud.
The service was good, the waitress was always making sure that we were okay.
