I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I've been several times & the food has been consistently delicious, the vibe is fun & welcoming, & somehow I always seem to meet new & interesting people here! Looking forward to my next visit!
We had a great time at Birbante for a birthday dinner with a group of eight. The food was really good, & the service was friendly & on point the entire evening. Everything we ordered was fresh, well-prepared, & packed with flavor.
The atmosphere was perfect for a celebration, & it made the night even more enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to going back. Highly recommended whether you're with a group or just out for a nice meal.
From the moment we arrived, everything about this restaurant was outstanding. The ambiance is warm & inviting, with nice décor & a cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel welcome. The service was impeccable, Mateo was attentive without being intrusive, friendly, & genuinely passionate about what he does.
From the starters to the desserts, each course was perfectly balanced & absolutely delicious.
In every sense-food, service, & atmosphere-this restaurant should be on your list for your next night out. Highly recommended & definitely worth it!
Excellent meal from start to finish. Service was attentive & very helpful, with great recommendations. Every dish was delicious, highly recommend the bruschetta & the creste with lamb. Lots of different cocktail options, extensive Campari & Amaro selection. We'll definitely be back!

Birbante was such a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious. I managed to snap a photo of the starters, but everything else disappeared too quickly to capture (always a good sign).
We were served by Matteo, who really took care of us & made some excellent recommendations throughout the meal.
This is the kind of place for people who genuinely enjoy good food & appreciate being surprised by thoughtful little details in each dish. Would definitely go back.
The risotto was tasty, but very small portion for 34$, it didn't make sense & our group left feeling hungry. Great service by our waiter though & they had a dj which was cool.
Went last night with my husband. The service & the food was outstanding. A nice authentic Italian restaurant with a cool vibe inside. Will be coming back!

Loved this place. Second time going & the menu is really tasty. Between the crudo, the burata, calamari salad, all the pastas & the grill, everyone can find something to their taste.

Retrouver un peu d'Italie à Montréal, c'est facile grâce à Birbante! Les entrées & les plats de pâtes sont goûteux & parfaits à partager. Bonne sélectio de cocktails avec des propositions inusitées. Buon appetito!
I want to start by saying the place is very nice decorated & the service was very friendly!
However, i'm a bit disappointed with the food since I had high expectations for this place, it was wasn't bad but it wasn't wow either. We asked if it was good to share between two people & we were told yes, but after 2 entrees, 2 mains & 2 desserts, we were still hungry as the dishes were way smaller than expected. l
To start, we had the Doppia Bruschetta, which was extremely salty & Crudo (this one was good). As main, we had Risotto N'duja e Burrata which was good, & Linguine which was alright. The highlight was the tiramisu, the tortino & the aperols spritz.
Déception sur certains plats, le plat de viande était vraiment extra mais les pâtes pesto c'était l'inverse comme réchauffé & plus de sauce. La foccacia moyenne comme une tranche de pain réchauffée alors que celle de la Panzeria est incroyable. Mitigé pour le prix total…
The service is great, everyone is in a good mood, they come check-in on you often to make sure you're not missing anything & they even ask if you have any recommendations or if you'd change anything in your dishes once you're done eating. We had the red snapper crudo to start, the walnut pesto pasta, the braised lamb pasta, the shoulder steak as mains & a chocolate fondant to share. Everything was fantastic!
This place is just incredible! The food is outstanding, the drinks are made to perfection. The ambiance is cozy & authentic. Really makes you feel like you're in Italy! Special mention to the Arrosticini & Nduja on focaccia, which is impossible to find anywhere else in Montreal! Will be returning without any doubt!
