Great place to discover some québecois food classics. All dishes I had were good & the beans were outstanding. Service was also very friendly.View more
Very friendly owner who served us. Interesting historical decor. The food was not very good. The sausage was rubbery & there was a cold meat pate & grilled bread was slightly burned. I had the meat pie, which was very good, but only served as a side dish.View more
En tant que tourisme français, je recommande expressément ce restaurant. Le service est top, la nourriture est exemple & le cadre est génial !!! Un incontournable de Montréal !!! Merci pour le moment !!!!View more
One of the must-try restaurants-it feels like a piece of Montreal & Quebec's history & character, with a unique design & a special style in how the tables are set. A simple yet warm welcome, very friendly service, & incredibly healthy & light food. Above all, the high quality of the black coffee stands out. The waiter was very polite, professional, & delightful-unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name. Highly recommended!View more
Une superbe adresse pour découvrir les plats typiquement Québécois.
Le service est top.View more
This place has been on our list since we visited Montreal last year, but did not make it. Made a point to get there this year & kicked ourselves for not getting there sooner.
Went for breakfast & everything was absolutely perfect. To quote a great internet meme'I'm thinking about those beans.'
Will definitely be returning as soon as possible. Don't miss it!View more
The calm & relaxed atmosphere is truly charming. The staff is very kind, & the food tastes amazing. Every dish on the menu is appealing, so I definitely want to visit again the next time I'm in MontrealView more
Trop rare restaurant Québécois à Montréal. Service sympa, nourriture rustique & typique, on repart rassasié. On a bcp apprécié la musique Québécoise, trop rare aussi.View more
Très bon bar brasserie.
J'ai commandé une poutine qui était excellente & cela vous cale tellement que vous n'allez pas la finir.
C'est la meilleure poutine que j'ai mangée à ce jour.View more
I Love the way the servers explain everything in details & the way that they designed the tables.View more
Service was very friendly & fast. Unfortunately, food was really disappointing. Ordered eggs benedict... the eggs were hard boiled, toast burnt, & potatoes cold.View more
Amazing traditional Quebec fare in a low-key dineView more
Best fish & chips in town! Cooked in the oven so it is not greasy & the fries are fantastic. The service is very friendly. We love this place must visit if you want a Quebec experience!View more
We had an amazing meal at La Binerie!
Our server, JP, was an amazing host & did his best to explain everything & also make some solid suggestions.
I ended up having the Quebecois sampler platter (that's not what it's called but that's essentially what it's called). You get meatballs in tomato sauce, tourtierre, steamed veg, & mashed potatoes. Everything was great. You also get beans cooked in lard which was honestly revelatory. So amazingly delicious. Not often are beans the star of the meal! The food came fairly quickly & the service was top-notch.
For dessert I had the poor man's pudding which was good but my wife had the pecan pie which would be my choice next time.
The restaurant is cute, the portions are appropriate, & the service is amazing. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a Quebecois meal which in MontrealView more
