I'm giving 3 stars because one item was missing from my order - they forgot to pack the filter coffee. Please double-check orders next time, as I was really looking forward to that coffee after just landing in Montreal. That said, the food tasted amazing, & I don't want to take any credit away for that. Great flavors, but attention to detail would make the experience perfect!
Bawarchi serves incredible Indian cuisine! I tried the Chicken Chili & Special Chicken Biryani-both were bursting with authentic flavors. The Chicken Chili was perfectly spiced, while the Biryani had tender chicken & aromatic rice. Generous portions & excellent service make it a must-visit for Indian food lovers.

Delicious, authentic. Real spicy level & the biryani is excellent. Grains are well separated & the chicken pieces are rich & complex. The service is great as well. We went on a Friday night & it was super busy. There were only two girls & they did a phenomenal job. Surprising good beer selection too (local Knowlton brewery on tap)
We went to this restaurant after reading some good reviews,& also were craving for biryani. We ordered chilli fish, ghee roast kaju Chicken biryani,ghee roast kaju fish biryani . Everything tasted average, with out of balance flavors & spices crying out loud. Service was quick,but the major let down was a neighboring table with three very loud guests .
It's a great restaurant & would definitely recommend the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani Chicken. The staff is responsive & warm, I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes to have great food with sweet service by the staff. The ambience is a plus!!
If only there is a way to give more stars. Absolutely amazing Indian food. Especially the biryanis. I can't believe any place can even have that much of options, just for the biryani. Some of them, just hits the spot, some of biryani options, you need to make sure you know what you are getting into before diving in. But overall, extremely addictive place. Mouth watering taste, & fantastic experience. Highly recommend!
Tried two of their goat biryanis & they were both excellent! The first time we tried the Mutton Ghee Roast Biryani, amazing but spicy even though the spice level is rated as one ️ but this can be subjective, a Mango lassi & some yogurt fixes that though! We recently tried the Goat Dum Biryani also rated as one ️ & this was a little less spicy but it still needed some help from the Yogurt to help cool! Super delicious as well! We also tried the Batti Murgh Tikka & this was mouthwatering! For those health conscious folks, go for this it's an excellent source of protein & seems to have very low amounts of fat yet delicious! I look forward to trying their other Biryanis! The portions were excellent. Food is fresh! I like how they layer the meat portion with the rice & equalize them so that with every bite you have enough masala & meat, smart approach ;)
