We only had 2 hours at out table, which is understandable because it's Saturday night. It took 30 minutes for the server to get our order & another 30-45 minutes to get our food. It's already 7:00 & I still haven't gotten my salad I ordered half an hour ago. I got my main dish before my salad, my father's fish was totally burned on the bottom, he returned it. The server was super nice, I don't blame it on him. My father was beyond pissed. He got something else. When his order came, I think it was one of the managers that brought it, she acknowledged the fact that she did see the burnt fish. Everything went well afterwards, finally got my salad when I was almost finished with my plate. The server apologized. Yet it was close to 8, we still haven't finished eating, the front didn't even bother to come & ask us to leave. We hadn't finished eating, & we haven't paid. Besides that, it was pretty nice. Server apologized couple of times for the delays. There's alot of things they removed from the menu which I loved. My favourite was the chocolate brownie with ice cream & Kahlua. My husband was disappointed also as my father. My mom's dish was cooked well. I don't know if we'll be back though.

The service was very good. He was very attentive to our needs. The food was good, but the chicken salade my wife had only had a few pieces of chicken in it. She usually orders the same salade, but this time wasn't as good.

C'était notre première visite chez BR depuis avant la pandémie & ce sera la dernière fois que nous y mangerons. À part un service pressé mais correct, rien ne nous a donné satisfaction. Les entrées étaient tièdes ("crevettes croustillantes" pas du tout croustillantes mais plutôt molles & réchauffées, & calmars également pas très chauds). Les plats principaux (côtes levées) sont arrivés (trop) rapidement & ni les côtes ni les assiettes n'étant suffisamment chaudes, nous les avons retournées à la cuisine pour les faire réchauffer. Elles nous sont revenues tout aussi tièdes. Nous avons fait emballer les deux repas afin de pouvoir les manger chauds à la maison. Très décevant, d'autant plus que le restaurant n'était pas très occupé. Comme mentionné, nous n'y retournerons pas.

Mothers' Day review does not reflect normal restaurant operations. So a bit generous with my stars.
Having said that:
- Service was slow, but waiter was excellent at giving updates & chatting us up so it wasn't a problem
- Food-wise - most things were slightly overcooked & slightly dried out - 3 orders of ribs, 1 burger.
- Fries, Calamari & Prime Rib sandwich were very good,
So overall we had a good experience, but disappointed with the ribs & burger - sounds like kitchen was swamped & left things on a too long.
We'll take some time before going back - & not during extra-busy day - hopefully more care in the kitchen next time.

Disappointed with staff speaking to customers about masks.

Good service & food tonight but I am going to stay away if people are going to wander in & out & around the restaurant (by us) without masks

Our evening at the Baton Rouge was all we hoped it would be . It was our 51st Wedding Anniversary & with lockdown last year we did not get to celebrate. The food was excellent & our waiter was attentive . Great evening all round .
