Mixed feelings. Ordered the salami focaccia & while the bread & meat were good, they low-key left out the best parts... no roquette, no caramelized onion, & no tapenade.

It was basically a totally different sandwich. Coffee was great, but please double-check orders before sending them out!

I've been coming to Café Baristello on Jarry for a while now, & it's easily one of my favorite coffee spots in the area. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, with just the right balance between cozy & lively. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or sitting down to work or catch up with someone, it's always a great vibe.
The coffee is consistently excellent-rich, smooth, & clearly made with care. You can tell the baristas know what they're doing. I've tried a few different drinks over time, & they've all been spot on. Their pastries & light bites are also fresh & really good, especially considering the very reasonable prices.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. The staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, & remember regulars, which adds a really personal touch. It never feels rushed or impersonal, even when it's busy.
Overall, Café Baristello is the kind of neighborhood café you hope to find-great coffee, fair prices, & a team that clearly cares about what they do. Highly recommend to anyone nearby.
