I've been coming to Café Baristello on Jarry for a while now, & it's easily one of my favorite coffee spots in the area. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, with just the right balance between cozy & lively. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or sitting down to work or catch up with someone, it's always a great vibe.
The coffee is consistently excellent-rich, smooth, & clearly made with care. You can tell the baristas know what they're doing. I've tried a few different drinks over time, & they've all been spot on. Their pastries & light bites are also fresh & really good, especially considering the very reasonable prices.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. The staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, & remember regulars, which adds a really personal touch. It never feels rushed or impersonal, even when it's busy.
Overall, Café Baristello is the kind of neighborhood café you hope to find-great coffee, fair prices, & a team that clearly cares about what they do. Highly recommend to anyone nearby.
Nous sommes venues avec mon amie ce matin & nous avons eu un accueil plus que chaleureux! Leurs cafés sont excellents ainsi que leur croissants à la pistache. Merci de votre bel accueil, cest le fun de commencer sa journée comme ca!

The men who were taking the order & serving it, I would personally say that they were too kind & perfect gentlemen. They have mastered the customer service industry. Every customer in this cafe was pleased talking to them. & coming to the coffee I would rate top star & the chocolate burfi is what I would call it was too good. I will surely visit again if I come back to Montreal.
Best latte I've had in a very long time! So rich & smooth! The cafe has such a welcoming energy & the service was super friendly! If you're walking through Villeray in need of a good coffee stop in! A plus is they sell a variety of Italian good so snag a coffee & a bag of pasta to cook later :)
Café & foccacias 10/10. Service A1. Beaucoup d'italiens Joe Minchia dans la cinquantaine qui viennent flasher leur pickup. Je recommande pour l'expérience esthétique de saint-leonard au coeur de Villeray. Amenez votre chandail blanc & votre collier avec une corne si vous voulez passer inaperçu.

Je suis entre un 3* & un 4* d'évaluation. Gérant agréables, amicale & accueillant, La place est cependant trop petit pour en accueillir une poussette & il y a peu de choix selon moi... cependant avec un déménagement de votre part & une croissance de vos options de choix pour la clientèle, j'aurais une grande confiance en l'avenir de cette compagnie. Il peut être cher de déménager pour plus grand mais c'est selon moi se qu'il faut pour en faire connaître la compagnie . J'ai aimé mon café & mon croissant merci encore au gérant pour son professionnalisme & son accueil chaleureux. J'achèterai en ligne de vos cafés fait local!

Such a cute Italian cafe! We walked over to find it busy in a great way on Saturday morning. The cappuccino was AMAZING. sitting outside & sipping in the cold was awesome. The cafe itself is very typical Italian vibes- Italian records on the wall, car plates, wall lined with their coffee & pasta collection…. Very aesthetic. The staff was friendly & chatted with them too. Highly recommended!
Quelle belle surprise que ce nouveau café. Y a pas encore d’affiche à l’extérieur mais c’est plein de monde. Le barista porte fièrement la tuque du Café Larue (parce que ce sont ses amis dit-il) & comme il est beau comme un coeur, y a plein de belles filles en admiration autour de son comptoir ! Que du beau monde. J’ai demandé un allongé & j’ai bu le meilleur café depuis longtemps. Une belle petite place à découvrir.
