Food was delicious but the portions were quite small compared to price. We were actually a little disappointed when they brought the plates. We were there for the brunch.
Best brunch in the mile end... sorry Larry.... I ordered the Turkish eggs & went back the next day for the Zaatar breakfast sandwich, the ingredients are so fresh & flavourful. It was like living on a homestead & taking all the food from the garden & creating something so so delicious. I've been to a few brunch places in the mile end & nothing compares to Le Bar Sparrow. It's beautifully curated in it's design. If I lived in Montreal this place would rob me $. I can't wait to go back, it'll next time MTL, & THANK YOU
I was craving shakshuka & went to Sparrow to satisfy my craving! It never disappoints, super flavourful & so happy I got to brunch there. Also had their cardamom latte (so fragrant!) & asked for extra merguez on the shakshuka. Sat by the bar counter alone & the staff kept me company & chatted with me.
Went for brunch, not too difficult to reserve for a decent sized party & food was good. Portions a little bit on the smaller side sometimes but not too bad. Nice seating & vibe to go with friends
Great spot for brunch! Very diverse menu & options for vegetarians as well. Coffee menu is impressive. Service was a bit slow, but there was only two servers & they also had to managed walk-ins & reservations so they were spread a bit thin.

Sparrow is the best date night & brunch spot! I adore the owners, the food is delicious, & the cocktails are out of this world. I love the vibe & all the staff are super friendly. Their caesar & chartreuse swizzle are so good. We love Sparrow!
J'y suis allé pour le brunch & j'ai été extrêmement déçu. Mon plat était tellement petit que j'ai dû aller m'acheter autre chose à manger en sortant, & je ne suis vraiment pas un gros mangeur ! Le jus d'orange "frais" goûtait étrangement comme le jus d'orange tropicana.
Mes amis & moi avons atterri au Sparrow par hasard en cherchant un lieu pour bruncher dans le quartier. La salle est assez sombre. J'ai commandé des oeufs au labné sauce chimichurri - alléchant sur le papier - mais en réalité, baignant dans l'huile & sans beaucoup de goût. Au final, trop cher pour une qualité moyenne. Service peu souriant. On a l'impression de déranger...
Today, at 10 am, the place is nearly empty. By 11, it will be packed :) I ordered the Shakshuka brunch option, with extra merguez & extra feta & extra potatoes. The result can be seen in the pictures. But from the pictures, you can't possibly imagine how original & delicious it is !! ❤️ What a nice & welcome change from too many generic breakfast places which offer nothing special, & couldn't even be bothered to try 😢 Give this place a try, for brunch, & then come back, in the evening, for a cool cocktail 🍹 or drink 🍻 ... You won't regret it 😏

My favourite weekday cider spot & also brunch place. They've got very solid after-dinner snacks at great prices, & a wide cocktail list. But most special of all is the lighting & the wooden chairs & tables & the long beautiful bar. This place feels like it's got a fireplace roaring. I'd add photos but they're all happy blurry late-night impressions. For brunch, any of their sandwiches are incredible.
Amazing vibe, & really eclectic & cool menu. The hot/cold brunch drinks are really good, which seems simple but like coffees & teas are presented so beautifully & are as exciting as the food items
Sparrow is a delightful casual restaurant on St. Laurent Blvd (just north of Fairmount), in an area with a number of other eateries. The ambiance is dark wood interiors with a bohemian flair with a super size street facing window...so that the restaurant is both dark & light at the same time. Seating is mostly at tables but there are a few bench side options as well as the window abutting coach (low to the ground but a very chill place to chat & snack).
We had a weekend brunch...enjoying the scones & jam (surprisingly very good, the scone was served warm with a nice helping of devon cream...but the strawberry jam could have been better), the Fried Egg with Sage (very good), the Belgian Waffle (excellent although the portion was a touch too small) & a Green Salad (very good but simple). We also enjoyed some nice coffees & smoothies.
Service was very attentive & friendly adding to the experience. On the late Saturday morning we visited, there were a large number of young family with kids just finishing up, so this appears to be a great place for an early breakfast for the young ones. Enjoy!
