Que de beaux souvenirs en revenant luncher au Bagel etc. ce midi. J'y allais régulièrement à la fin des années'90, alors que Leonard Cohen était très souvent attablé au comptoir, lui qui vivait tout juste en face du Parc des Portugais. L'endroit est pratiquement inchangé, avec ses couleurs typiques, ses moulures, sa table de cuisson visible de tous, & son "petit coin" dédié à Leonard Cohen (près des toilettes). Bouffe simple mais très bonne, service amical & rapide, mais surtout, un endroit chaleureux avec beaucoup d'histoire. Je n'attendrai pas aussi longtemps avant d'y retourner.
Tellement une belle découverte! La déco & même la musique nous plonge dans une ambiance retro. Nous sommes allés dimanche matin tôt & le service était excellent. Belle sauce maison pour les oeufs bénédictine & les pommes de terre rissolées sont exquises. Le tout à prix plus que raisonnables pour des portions copieuses. Comme le serveur dit si bien, tout est fait avec amour & c'est évident 😏 bravo à toute l'équipe!
It's a high 5 just the waitress don't know how to manage there time I just asked for water & waitress brought water to 6 other people who came after me took & order cleaned a table . & still waiting.
Might be a typical tourist mistake I made. It's stuffy & the service seemed annoyed. Got a bagel with cheese..with no cheese. Just a bagel cut in half with nothing on it. I asked & got three slices out of a freezer. Idk. Perhaps it was my fault. Should have walked a little further maybe.
Très grande variété de nourriture! Très bon service par notre serveur & les cuisiniers était rapide !!! La nourriture était excellente pour les 4 personnes que nous étions :)))).
Visited Bagel Etc on Saint Laurent Street on a Saturday. The crowded ambiance & constant noise detracted from the experience. Despite a diverse menu, the food was ordinary, lacking any standout flavors. The coffee, unfortunately, didn't leave a lasting impression. Overall, an average brunch spot with room for improvement.
i loved the atmosphere of the restaurant! went there for brunch with my friends. they have a good variety in the menu. i ordered their tuna salad bagel & it was tasty. my friend didn't like the potatoes too much.
It's a second Montreal visit when I have a breakfast at this place. Never disappoints. The food is delicious, & the portions are generous. This time I brought friends & everyone was happy with what they got. A la prochaine!

Great brunch spot in the plateau. Has an old school diner vibe, with an open kitchen. Went with friends who had a classic breakfast plate, eggs Benedict on bagel. Portions were quite large & everything was delicious. Ordered a large latte & it was humongous! Be forewarned it's not a regular cafe large size. I will say the staff were very friendly, but a bit short on the Sunday we were there. Arrived at 11, waiting about 5-10 minutes for a table. It took a while to take our orders, but the food arrived hot. Will go back for sure, but will go earlier :)
Ambiance relax qui a son charme, mais service peu présent & lorsqu'il y en a, ça manque beaucoup de sourires. On a l'impression d'être de trop comme client. Dommage.
Really cool looking place with great breakfast options & delicious bagel sandwiches. Service was super friendly, staff is efficient & kind. Nice little place to come with friends &/or family & won't hurt the wallet.
