Very disappointed!! I had my lunch today at their downtown location. I saw the lady who was preparing my coffee tasted it & then put the lid & gave it to me. When I asked her about it she said it was the different cup. But I saw what I saw. I didn't want to make a scene so left & didn't drink that coffee.

I usually shop here a few times a week, & over the past month, I've experienced several pricing discrepancies. It seems that the price displayed on the shelf often differs from what is charged at the cash register. On multiple occasions, items marked with special pricing ended up being more expensive when scanned.
This happened again today, & it's not the first time. Each time, the shelf price was lower than the price charged at checkout. When I raised the issue, I was told that I could simply return the item. However, to my understanding, this situation falls under Québec's price accuracy policy.
I was not looking for a bargain, but I do expect that the advertised price be honored, even if it was mislabeled or misplaced, as explained by the manager. Repeated incidents like this reflect poorly on store practices. In my view, this is not a good or honest practice, especially considering that many customers may not notice the discrepancy if they don't check their receipts.
Overall, this has happened to me several times this month, & I believe it may be affecting other customers as well.
Nice, clean, smaller Avril option downtown at edge of Old Montreal. Great for lunches & quick grocery pickup. Amazing space outdoors to sit. Large spot upstairs to sit down & have lunch/snacks.
As well as being a health food supermarket, Avril is a great spot to work / study (especially since it's open until 11pm)!Though the grocery items can be a bit pricey, their little deli & coffee counter has a decent little selection, & you can get a snack & get work done for a lot cheaper than your average cafe / co-work. The music they play is soft & not distracting since they changed it - it used to be vomitatious Muzak & now it's usually soft classical guitar at a lower volume. I would prefer no music since most people have their own earphones, but at least it's not too loud. Staff is friendly too. Thanks to Avril for staying open until 11!

Excellente épicerie santé beaucoup de spéciaux & de choix , nourriture disponible sandwichs & soupes & une multitude de desserts , personnel courtois aux caisses & comptoirs bouffe.
Très beaux produits, personnels courtois & il est facile de se faire venir un produit en succursale. Le prêt à manger est appétissant. J'aime beaucoup cette épicerie très à propos pour le végétarien que je suis, toutefois ils ont ce qu'il faut pour le carnivore en vous!!!
Le personnel de cette Avril ne sont pas poli ou professionnel. In particulier la femme a la boulangerie. Elle m'a traité avec des mannières grossières & impolis.
Jamais je reviens ici.

Très bon endroit pour magasiner ou meme prendre un café , leur crème glacée by the way est excellente & le service à la clientèle de lila était impeccable ( j espère que je me suis pas trompé sur son prénom)
Endroit froid & inamical . Je n'y vais pas souvent & je pense ne plus jamais y retourner. Aucune chaleur humaine . Au prix où l on paye les produits on s'attendrais un minimum à 1. un sourire 2. Un Bonjour 3. Merci & bonne journée . Ou mettre des machines automatiques qui remercient le client de son achat .Bio & éthique ne rime pas avec humain ..
Des produits de très bonne qualité. Des fruits & légumes frais. Des prix abordables. J'apprécie également le rayon des produits de santé. Les employés m'ont donné de bons conseils.
La grosse majorité des fruits & légumes sont des É-U. Décevant. Si les fermes Lufa sont capable de faire exactement le contraire, je ne vois pas pourquoi Avril ne le peut.
