Brasserie Avant-Garde on Hochelaga Street is a fantastic spot. The beer selection was awesome with plenty of unique & flavorful options to try. I really liked that you can also buy cans on the spot to bring home or give as a gift.
I picked some up for a friend's birthday & they absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere, great beer, & a cool place to support local. I'll definitely be back.
We really wanted to love this place. It's really close to our home & the idea of artisan beer & napolitan style pizza is great business concept.
The beers that we had were had great flavour & the selection was vast.
Unfortunately, the pizzas were very dissapointing & came up short. We've been there several times now & had the same experience both times. The problem with the pizzas are that they are charred & burnt. As a result, the sauce & toppings are overshadowed by a burnt pizza flavor. We observed other customers who had ordered pizza as well having the bottom of their pizza burnt. Would not come back for the pizzas, if they can improve the pizza, I think this place would be a hit.
La sélection de bières est bonne, le calmar frit est excellent (& épicé!), mais la sauce tomate des pizza est TRÈS (voire trop) salée. Le service était plutôt lent pour un samedi soir. Il avait énormément de jeunes enfants. Expérience correcte, sans plus.
A true brewery. MANY great beer selections, great patio & huge bay doors that open in the summer. If the food menu was a little more extensive it would be absolutely perfect. The food they do have is very good

Good selection of craft beer & fire oven pizza was delicious! I liked how the crust was soft because I normally don't eat thick crust. A great location to hangout before or after a game at the stadium.
I've heard good things about the pizza from Avant Garde & they definitely were as delicious as people said it to be. The pizza were very light & not greasy. The tomato salad was also actually so good. They have a pretty decent selection of beer (duh it's a brewery) but I wished they had more options for those who don't like beer. Nevertheless, I would go back here to eat !

Quelle belle place. Un ambiance décontractée qui te permet de ralentir dans un Montréal effréné. Leur sélection de bières brassées sur place vous charmera, il y en a une pour tous le monde. & que dire de la pizza cuite sur feu dans une cuisine a aire ouverte? Wow juste wow
