Thank you so much...service is amazing ---& tasty food prepared exactly as per my request. Thank you Tony Owner for offering to help my Dad at the front door. Andreas such a friendly welcoming person your service is impeccable. Ellias your last minute entrance was perfect timing you all made us feel truly welcomed ...We will see you all again. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Very delicious plates, the coho salmon appetizer was like butter, the calamari was tender & tasty, we also had the beef barley soup again delicious. For the main course we had the shrimp plate, honey chicken & the steak with Caesar salad, all delicious. The staff was courteous & the service was quick. Can't go wrong with the food there, don't forget to bring your own wine.
Bel endroit, cuisine libanaise, repas de famille, grande tablée, on peut apportez son vin
We went there 2 weeks ago during the week, the Marcel Laurin Vieux Duluth restaurant. Service was good, no complaint there, but the food this time was not good as before. They must have changed the cook or people in the kitchen for sure, or they are saving on the ingredients! We have been going there for years, & never complained. 2 weeks ago we ordered as entrée the Escargots à la bourguignonne in garlic sauce, it was bland, no salt at all, hardly any garlic, actually 1 tiny piece of garlic you can hardly see within the butter, frankly it was not edible! We always ordered that before so many times but 2 weeks ago, it was not good & we will never order it again. We did not complain to the waiter because they should serve good food without us complaining! Then we ordered the Souvlaki plate & another plate of fish, filet doré. Both plates were OK, but the salad again was not good, very bland, dry & hardly any salad dressing on both plates' salads, almost like they just added water to the salad instead of dressing! Vieux Duluth can charge a bit more on their food so to keep the good standard but to skimp on salad dressing, & garlic, the main ingredients on the plates is no good. The owner of the Marcel Laurin Vieux Duluth should check on the food served every now & then like a quality control. We did not order dessert that day, we were not happy to stay there longer.
Bonne bouffe & bon service. Par contre, le pourboire de 15% est imposé & c'est illégal! D'ailleurs, la TPS & la TVQ ne sont pas mentionnées! Encore plus pris à défaut! L'Association des Restaurateurs du Québec l'affirme.
A wonderful place for family & friends gathering. Very delicious food & nice warm service.
Excellente je vous conseille d'aller visiter le vieux Port à Montréal
When I lived in Montreal, this was one of my favourite places to go in our neck of the woods. I was there with my husband, brother, my nephew, niece & my mom. It was just as I remembered. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was lively but not noisy & the waitstaff phenomenal. I would highly recommend a visit.
Its a hit & miss with this Au Vieux Duluth! Many times i have gone with friends & family & it has been amazing! Yesterday , 04/29/24 i ordered the same plates i usually get & everything was stale! From the bread to the calamari! The butterfly shrimps were burnt & stale! I dont know whats going on but you guys need to change things up cause you will be losing customers! & i've recently heard a negative review from someone i know as well about an undercooked chicken which was pink on the inside..Anyway, Best of luck!
A lovely family-run restaurant with great food & exceptional service! Will definitely be going back.
Absolutely outstanding! I recently dined at Au Vieux Duluth in Ville Saint-Laurent, Montreal, & was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, with a cozy, rustic feel that complements its authentic Greek cuisine. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, & I was particularly delighted by the perfectly cooked souvlaki. The freshness & flavor of the ingredients were evident in every bite. The service was attentive & friendly, making us feel right at home. Whether for a casual night out or a special occasion, Au Vieux Duluth is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
