Great latte, but it was $9 for a 12oz which is a little over the top. I added flavour & almond milk, but it still felt a little expensive for the size. Staff were lovely & prepared the beverage quickly.
I went to Opening Day 2023 to support the hill. I walked around & went through the stores. I wanted to celebrate with a special hot chocolate on the Tremblant Hill, as I remembered as a child. The cafe was not the ski hill vibe you would expect from a world renowned ski hill. Not enough seating, asking families to share their table for single patrons. An interior designer would have a field day to renovate this exclusive space to accommodate patrons who spend quite a bit of money to ski & stay at the hill. The cafe as it presents itself with large & multiple plants, you would expect to see at your grandmas house, is well enough for a small town not a ski resort . Witnessed 15 people in 20 mins leaving because there was not enough seating. The bathroom needs updating & a deep cleaning. Food stored on the ground in a traffic walkway to the bathroom. This is 2023 why does the Alterra Mountain Company not take a look through their merchants to make sure they represent the vibe they are selling. I do apologize for the blunt comments. I travel & ski the world full time & Tremblant is where I learned to ski over 50 years ago, needless to say they have a special place in my heart. The cafe needs an updated ski theme & menu. The staff are overly friendly which in some cases means they are over compensating for inadequacies.
Coffee was average
The croque monsieur was just a soulless ham & cheese toast.
The only good thing in this cafe is the staff, nice & friendly service
The food was quite good, however they don’t allow computers. I had to work on many important things & only had my small phone to do so. Apparently they don’t allow computers because they don’t want clients to stay too long, but it’s contradictive with their book stand, encouraging people to read. Plus, we didn’t feel very welcome & the seats are not much comfortable. Anyway, I went to Starbucks & had my work done.
On a rainy & cold day, the coffee shop was full. Not much places to sit, so we decided to have our coffees & hot chocolates to go. Like I mentioned, it was full, so it took a bit longer than usual to get our order, but still, it was worth it.
Très beau lieu, service adorable & rapide, & bon petits casse croûte, je recommande.
Coffee was excellent. Latte & drip. Pastry not great & croque monsieur really just a grilled cheese with ham.
