Au Coin Berbere primarly serves couscous in hearty portions. We tried the lamb shank, chicken, & merguez sausages which were all tender & well cooked. Be aware: the service is pretty slow, so dont be in a rush to get somewhere. They dont serve alcohol, but bring your own wine is fun. I wasnt wowed by the flavors, but the portion sizes are large & I enjoyed finding a restaurant with an emphasis on couscous. The food tasted authentic & had a homemade feel. The salade berbere was nice with the figs. For vegetarians: be sure to order the one that is vegetables with a fully vegetarian broth. The maghrebi tea was delicious, served very hot & poured with skill. The interior is well decorated, though there were some precariously places pots near the window side. The restaurant is close enough to Place des Arts that its very walkable.View more

Beau petit resto au personnel sympathique. Malgré l'absence d'un autre employé, le service est resté souriant & soigné. La nourriture est succulente. Mon agneau était juteux & tendre. Les merguez qui l'accompagnaient étaient bien cuites & savoureuses. Sans oublier le couscous & l'excellent bouillon à volonté. En passant, l'entrée d'olive au cumin vaut le détour.View more

Delicious Moroccan food in a nicely decorated setting overlooking a fountain plaza. The lamb tajin was fall off the bone goodness with perfectly flavoured sauce full of figs, almonds, cranberries & golden raisins. We also had the lovely BereBere Salad which is a Moroccan roasted vegetable dip eaten with a semolina flat bread. Such a lovely meal & the owner is friendly & very knowledgeable about Moroccan traditional ingredients.View more
