Ma place préférée sur ce continent.

Cédric semble tout droit sorti d'un roman de Raymond Chandler ou d'un film des frères Coen. Avec ses collègues, il maintient ici, contre toute logique, l'atmosphère d'une époque révolue - une époque qui n'a probablement jamais existé, où le cliquetis du juke-box rythme les conversations d'inconnus qui se parlent pour ne rien dire.

J'aime l'arôme de leur café, qu'on sent immédiatement en poussant la porte. J'aime les petits paniers en osier dans lesquels ils servent les hot-dogs. J'aime le fait que tout cela semble parfaitement normal.

J'y vivrais si je pouvais.

Coffee is excellent & the hot dog punches far above its weight. Tout garni avec chips is the only way to go. The old decor is authentic & the place has a very lived in feel. In the past I've found some of their sandwich menu wasn't great but other items definitely shine. Merci :)

I love the decor of this cafe! They have really cute & unique vintage posters of montreal & the furniture also follows that theme. They have a large menu of drinks & sandwiches. I got the nutella hot chocolate & it was so good! Very warm, comforting, not too sweet, & a good quantity to share. The ham & brie sandwich was pretty good, generous portion. I also had some bites of the chili hot dog & it was ok. A very quiet spot, you could study or work here pretty easily. The service was also good, the guy at the cash was alone but he was fast & efficient.

Went here in September. They didn't have ice. It was 35°. Do not get the nachos. Only order a hot dog if you like relish. 🌭
