We came for the cake making atelier. To our surprise, the atelier was basically a tiny 200sqft coffee shop with all guests sitting at one table together. One of the guests (unrelaited to us) came 20 min late. So we ALL had to wait when all of us had rushed during rush hour, having to finish work earlier, because the atelier only offers the most inconvenient hours from 5 to 7 on some weekdays.
Now not only we had to wait 20 minutes to start, no beverage was offered until half way into the atelier, our entire activity was still stopped at 6:45 & no extension was given to enjoy the activity.
The host (also owner) rushed through the entire process, didn't give us a minute to enjoy what is supposed to be a fun relaxing creative activity.
So here you are paying almost 70$, rushing to get to this activity, cutting your own time that you pay for to wait for unrelated guests, & are stressed out making your cake & trying to listen & watch the instructions at the same time. NOT WORTH IT. This was not enjoyable & a waste of money.View more

L'expérience était correcte, mais décevante dans l'ensemble. Nous avons attendu 15 à 20 minutes à cause d'un retard, & malgré cela, l'activité s'est terminée plus tôt que prévu. L'animatrice imposait un rythme rapide sans nous laisser le temps d'apprécier chaque étape.
Contrairement à ce qu'on voit sur Instagram, nous n'avons pas eu de kit de glaçage, & les options de décoration étaient très limitées. Le local est petit, le service de boisson se limite à un petit verre de thé, servi une seule fois.
De plus, une erreur de facturation a été faite : 15 $ ont été chargés sur ma carte plutôt que sur celle de la personne en retard, assurez-vous de verifier vos transactions avant de quitter l'établissement. Au moins, le montant avait été déduit du montant total de l'activité.
Pour 50 $, l'expérience ne vaut pas le prix. Je n'y retournerai pas.

The experience was okay, but overall disappointing. We waited about 15 to 20 minutes due to someone arriving late, yet the activity still ended earlier than expected. The instructor rushed through the steps & didn't give us time to enjoy each part of the process.
Unlike what is shown on Instagram, we didn't receive any icing kits, & the decoration options were very limited. The space is small, & the only drink offered was a small glass of tea - just one serving.
There was also a billing error: $15 was charged to my card instead of the person who arrived late. Make sure to check your transactions before leaving the place. At least the amount had been deducted from the overall cost.
For $50, it's not worth it. I won't be going back.View more

Disappointed by the lack of peanut-free options. I have a peanut allergy & was told most items contained peanuts or couldn't be confirmed safe, so I only had a drink. I was told that if I had mentioned it earlier, something could've been prepared, which I understand, but having no alternatives in the moment was frustrating. Later, my friends told me they didn't taste any peanuts in their pastries, so maybe there weren't any, but it still felt like there was no effort to accommodate a common allergy. Travaillant proche, j'ai souvent pris des pâtisseries à emporter toujours bien balancées, ni trop de sucre, ni trop d'intensité dans les saveurs. Dernièrement, j'ai commandé deux gâteaux pour deux évènements différents & la qualité était à chaque fois au rendez-vous. Sans compter, le service & la beauté des gâteaux. Je recommande fortement pour des évènements, c'est rapide, bien exécuté & ils prennent même en compte les demandes spéciales. Imbattable qualité/prix.View more

Je commande régulièrement des pâtisseries (la tarte au citron, l'éclair & le chou à la crème vanille, excellents!!) chez Atelier Marjorie via Uber Eats mais c'est la première fois que je passe une commande pour un gâteau personnalisé.
Le gâteau est presque identique au modèle que j'ai envoyé à la propriétaire, très attentive aux détails & très professionnelle.
La génoise était aérienne & la saveur caramel salé était vraiment gourmande & décadente.View more

We went for the Deluxe Tea Time.
• You get 4 pastries & 2 macarons per person. There's no sandwiches or scones like at a typical British high tea. This I new from the beginning as it's very well indicated on the website.
The pastries were 10/10. They are real size & not bite size. I managed to eat only 2 & took the other 2 to go.
• The tea is unlimited, but the selection is limited (about 5 choices).
• The space is small, & the three tables are very close to each other. I was not comfortable.View more

A Birthday Tea Time to Remember
If you know me, you know I don't play when it comes to birthday treats-& this year, I celebrated with an elegant tea time at Atelier Marjorie. Safe to say, it was a sweet success.
Let's talk highlights:
• Mocha Latte - Smooth, creamy, & just the right balance of chocolate & espresso. Like a warm hug in a cup.
• Pastries - The chocolate éclair was rich & glossy with a filling that whispered luxury. The mini lemon meringue pie? Bright, tangy, & cloud-like with its toasted meringue top.
• Macarons - I wrapped it all up with a salted caramel & a passion fruit macaron. Soft, chewy, & bursting with flavor-like little edible presents.
The vibe? Cozy & charming with friendly service that made me feel like I was celebrating at a close friend's café.
Bonus: they also host mini cake decorating classes-& you know I'm coming back to try that next time.

I ordered a birthday cake for my friend, & it was just gorgeous. They have been patient & very helpful with my order. They also respected all my specifications, as my friend was a bit picky. But she loved the cake, & it was even nicer than the one in the picture I sent them! I recommend at 100%!

When you actually get to eating the cake it is DELICIOUS (framboise) downsides : you don't get many colours to decorate; in my case we only had orange, purple, white, yellow & blue. You only have an hour to decorate it, & we got advised of this 10 minutes before our hour was over, & rushed our end product.View more

Les pâtisseries sont EXCELLENTES, je n'ai absolument rien à redire sur la qualité des pâtisseries, elles sont à tomber par terre.
Le service est impeccable, le personnel est vraiment gentil & attentionné!
Le décor est beau mais je trouve qu'il manque de finitions, des petits détails rendent le décor parfois cheap, je trouve cela dommage car il y a énormément de potentiel avec ce qui est déjà en place.
Cependant je continuerai à faire découvrir cet endroit pour l'expérience & les pâtisseries.View more

My time at Atelier Marjorie was the highlight of my trip to Montreal! The service was great! Both the owner, Khadijah, & the gentleman who helped set up my incredible cake decorating experience, Sacha, were so kind & welcoming. The girly pink interior, beautiful floral decorations & comfortable seating created a cozy & relaxing atmosphere. I had so much fun decorating my delicious raspberry cake with the large variety of icings & sprinkles I was provided. I truly enjoyed the time to be creative & the cake was both beautiful & delicious. I also had up a couple desserts while I was there & everything was so flavorful, unique, & exquisitely crafted! Definitely come here for a fun girls day, a birthday, or with your kids who are also princesses at heart! Your sweet tooth & inner child will be satisfied! 🩷View more

We liked: The place is pretty. Staff was friendly. Good tasting cake.
We disliked: Very small space & tables are close to one another. Only had a few colours of icing & one bowl of mixed sprinkles to choose from. Vanilla latte was made with store bought Tim Hortons latte powder… Overpriced.

Alors je suis venue hier moi & mon conjoint en faisant 1h de route pour goûter a la pâtisserie mais hélas j'étais déçue non pas par les gâteaux qui étaient bons mais par le service ! Il était 17h je voulais acheter deux boites une pour moi & une autre pour offrir mais des que je demandais un gâteaux il me répondait que c'était deja pris ou qu'il devait garder 2 en vitrine chose que je n'ai pas du tout compris! Vu qu'il y'avait des sortes ou il ne restait qu'un seul ! J'étais un peu déçue mais ceux que j'ai pris étaient trop bon, je reviendrai pour réessayer d'autres.
& le jeune homme qui m'a servi paraissait tête ailleurs mais n'empêche qu'il était tres gentil, peut-être qu'il était juste fatigué.
