Arouch Montreal Restaurant: Menu, Reviews & Reserve (2026)
ArmenianPizzaLebaneseSandwiches
Our history Arouch is a family business which opened its doors in 1978. The bakery, which initially sold lahmajoun pizzas exclusively, quickly carved out a reputation as being the best in town. Arouch has appeared in several newspaper and magazine articles, as well as on television and the Internet. The owners, the Dedeyan family, renovated the bakery by introducing several varieties of typical pizzas, modernizing the décor, opening a second bakery in Laval, a third downtown, and a fourth in Côte-des-Neiges. Today, Arouch serves you from its 4 locations and its products are sold in more than 50 independent supermarkets and specialty stores in Quebec such as Mourelatos and Marché PA.

Review Summary

Arouch draws strong praise for its pizzas described as healthy and among the best in town, and is seen as a top place to eat with good food, service, and an overall positive experience. The Lahmajoun is highlighted as a standout item with reviewers noting it can be flatbread or wrap or a hybrid, with some saying it would have been better as a flatbread; toppings and heating are discussed, with a preference for veggies to be integrated during heating to avoid a messy presentation. Food is consistently tasty and reasonably priced, service is frequently described as friendly and helpful, and staff are praised for packing orders with care. The venue is noted as clean with a clear menu and many options, and orders are handled quickly and professionally whether buying a single meal or in bulk. Several reviewers mention a drive through and long term appreciation, while others note the downtown location has closed and express hope for a new southern location.

The warmest welcome in Montreal with the best lahmajoun! This place is the OG, cranking out tasty flatbreads for decades. Absolute must visit -- & you want to come to this location.

Stopped in for 2 dozen to bring home, & Sona graciously packaged them up for ideal freezing. She was so sweet, chatting with my dad about life in the old Park Ex neighborhood. Warm, friendly service & excellent foods, what more could you possibly want? Pay them a visit & take a box to go!!

Manouch/Lahmajoun is always an interesting item to order because depending on where you order it- it could be a flatbread, it could be a wrap- it could be somehow both! Here it resembled a hybrid but I think it would have been best kept as a flatbread. Mine was served with cheese & a few veggies. I think the veggies should have been thrown on before it was heated for better integration personally rather than loosely thrown on, which made it a messier experience with the toppings flying around. Other than how the food held together, it was really tasty & at a reasonable price. The service was good too.
