I have been going to Arahova for takeout & to dine-in for several years now. The service is quick & if it takes a while longer they inform you. The calamari is to die for, we always order it. I never had problems with the food. It tastes great. That restaurant was recommended by a friend who's family is greek.
Outside advertising was misleading - advertised plates not available, & food was only take out when not advertised as only take out! So, they fish you into the restaurant based on false pretenses.

Kids plates came with the smallest juice glasses you've ever seen - maybe 1/4 cup worth at best. Ice cream was so disgustingly freezer burned my kids didn't want to eat it - & they'll eat anything!!
Also the kids chicken brochettes tasted like poor quality chicken...jeez! The parents will taste the kids food first arahova!!!! Shameful!!
Please keep away - you will get absolutely no value at this restaurant.
Try nostos or panama for diner style greek food.

3e fois à ce resto, je suis incapable de mettre la date en haut, c'était le 20 mai dernier (2014).
la première fois les verres étaient sales mais le reste correct,,,
2e fois tout était correct, la bouffe aussi,
3e fois, vraiment pas terrible, ils ont changé les pitas, ils étaient 10 fois meilleurs avant, j'ai demandé un souvlaki pita, j'ai reçu un gyros, elle ramène l'assiette & me rapporte un gyros pita, quand je lui ai dit elle m'a répondu ah pourtant je lui ai dit de changer la viande!!!!!
Les patates grecques (si ont peut appeler ça comme ça) étaient dégueulasses, c'était plutôt des patates bouillies (pis trop bouillies), & le riz goûtait l'eau de vaisselle.
Mon amie a regretté d'avoir pris la salade grecque car elle ne contenait que des tomates & des oignons!!

Entrecôte - 75% gras - j'ai demandé une cuisson médium & le steak est arrivé saignant - il était trop salé & avait trop d'épices cheap.
Il y a de l'ail dans tout les plats..... trop c'est trop.
Salade noyée dans une vinaigrette a l'ail - un morceau de tomate & un piment fort - que de la laitue iceberg grossièrement coupée.
27$ sans pourboire pour une assiette qualifiée de non mangeable .... c'est ma deuxième expérience à ce resto. La première fois j'avais également été déçue par une brochette de poulet tellement grasse & celle ci était a moitié cuite, de plus la qualité du poulet laissait a désiré - je n'ai pas voulu juger pour une seule expérience c'est pour cela que je suis retourné une autre fois.
Plus jamais ......je me suis faite avoir par 2 fois
Ne dépensez pas vos sous a ce restaurant si vous êtes difficile - de plus, la plupart des plats sont sans goût, il n'y a pas de saveur.
Le service est terrible & l'attente a ne plus finir....Les serveuses sont à l'entrée parlent fort, rient à voir avec un service de qualité mais cela choque au regard.....Les plats arrivent très tard à la table, j'ai attendu 15 minutes pour la salade en entrée.....les serveuses se foutent du service & ne s'excusent en rien si le plat n'est pas acceptable....
J'ai été très déçu & je ne recommande pas ce restaurant a personne...
J'aimerais que l'administration puisse changer plusieurs facteur qui nuisent au bon fonctionnement de ce restaurant.
Every time I go here I ask myself how such bland & tasteless food can leave such a garlicky taste in my mouth afterwards....
Unfortunately this restaurant is close to my work so when I don't have time to make something for lunch I end up there, especially in cold weather when it's too freezing to walk any further!
The waitresses are always arguing about something quite loudly or making comments that should not be heard by clients. The food has potential as they have an extensive menu but there is such a lack of flavour...
I got an answer for you on this one buddy: coz the terrible food is all drowning inside tzatziki which has garlic in it. On the plus side, the garlic, will help offset the badly cooked food you ingested. garlic cleans it up. So, we should thank them for the tons of tzatziki they pour onto their meat.
Excellent restaurant si on veux manger copieusement. Ils ont changé les verres à vin & c'est bien mieux. Le pain à l'ail est super bon & chaud, les repas ont peut même en faire des doggybags alors c'est extra. Nous on y est tellement allé qu'on a presque tout testé sur le menu alors on connait bien. Les serveuses sont d'une gentillesse extraordinaire. Bravo!!!!
La serveuse était beaucoup trop familière. Elle s'est trompé dans notre commande de plats qui ont pris une éternité à venir. Elle a aussi passé un commentaire inapproprié en amenant les feuilles de vigne ("ça ressemble à des crottes de chien...mais je vous assure ça ne l'est pas"). On a dû quitter le restaurant sur le moment.
Very very baaaad food, nothing fresh from the Greek salad tomato to the pita & chicken, this is the second time I get very sick after eating there, first time was 5 month ago & this time I had to go meet a friend there for a short meeting & I was so hungry so I ordered food while I'm talking to my friend.
Even the spanakopita was so bad that I left most of it, & the price was so high for such bad food & poor service, & the waitress didn't even care after we gave most of what we ordered back to her, normally they ask if we liked what we got but she didn't even care at all...our bill was over $65 for food that we didn't eat.
I'm writing this review to make sure no one get scammed like us!!
Guess what Mhobhob, It was the first time I went to this new location...AND LAST TIME!!! They can't even serve a decent glass of coke or 7-up, they bring it to you in a can. Even La Belle Province serve beverages in a cup at least!
