Amazing comfort food! Sharif made us feel just right at home. Gave us more food than we ordered & let me tell you, it was phenomenal! A true hidden gem in Montreal! Highly highly recommended if you are craving authentic Bengali cuisine.
I recently visited APPAYON - Cuisine Bangladeshi, & honestly, it was an amazing experience.
The ambience is one of the best parts of this place very warm, calm, & welcoming. It really gives you a comfortable, homely feeling. The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, & made sure everything was perfect.
I tried their kichuri combo with beef, & it was absolutely delicious. The kichuri was full of flavor, with vegetables mixed in perfectly. Every bite gave that proper deshi taste, something that's hard to find outside home.
The beef curry was the best for me. It was honestly one of the best curry I've had in Canada. Not too oily, very well-balanced spices, & the meat was cooked perfectly. It really felt like a homemade deshi curry.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Montreal & looking for authentic Bangladeshi food. Everything is very reasonably priced compared to the taste & quality. This place truly feels like home.
The service was beyond terrible. There was a tall man on the staff who seemed to be in charge, & his attitude was unbelievably rude & arrogant. Instead of helping customers, he walked around with an expression like everyone was wasting his time. When we tried to ask a simple question about the menu, he responded in a dismissive & disrespectful tone.

A Bangladeshi cuisine with option for buffet, many great Bangladeshi meals as well as regular menu items. Their meal for 2 is a great option for 2 friends, giving roast polao & tuna kebab. Definite worth visiting, try out all the Bangladeshi restaurants.
