La nourriture est globalement excellente et les portions généreuses, les ingrédients de qualité et les saveurs authentiques, la pizza et les sauces maison sont particulièrement appréciées. Le service est généralement rapide et accueillant, mais certains retours évoquent des temps d'attente plus longs et des soucis lors des commandes à emporter ou téléphoniques. L'ambiance peut être festive et animée, parfois trop bruyante lorsque la musique est présente, ce qui peut gêner la conversation. We were a group of 6 & they were able to get us a table right away even though the place was full.
My 12yo loves pizza so I decided to get him the familia size this way he can have next day. Except, he devoured it by him self it was that good. This pizza is huge!!!
I took the steak sub. This ain't no Subways subs, this is the real deal! Fresh bread, delicious seasoned beef, fresh greens. Wow we were shocked how delicious it was. Hats off to the chef.
The owner came to say hi & talk to us. He had a huge smile where ever he was.
Go check this place out, definitely try the sub. I'm going back for sure! Don't forget to ask the spicy oil.

Amaizing Subs & sandwiches! The Panini with cold cuts (not on menu by the way) was amazing & huge, the photo is of only half of the sandwich. Service was fast & excellent. Highly recommend!!
Sub price on website say $22.95, but really is $28.95 not cool. You should honor it if it's posted. Talking robot machine is annoying, doesn't understand simple questions. Food is still really good & tasty.
What a great discovery! Went last night & will definitely return. We shared a sub, fries & a family size pizza & everything was delicious. Service was great & the owner goes above & beyond, he sat with us for a bit & even offered us a drink which is something most places do not do, customer service by far is the best I've had in a very long time. Only downside is the music tends to get a little too loud at times so when you're seated next to the dj it's hard to have a conversation. I'm already planning my next visit here & highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed!
The food is absolutely amazing. The submarine sandwich is made with fresh bread baked right in their pizza oven, which makes all the difference. The pizza is rich & generously topped, & the polpetta is homemade & incredibly fresh. Everything tastes authentic & made with care
Worst experience ever in a restaurant.we were a big group I took a sub sandwich I asked nothing spicy.yet they gave me one with hot pepper s.they placed us in a tight space & in front of the oven was very hot.pizza was soggy .not good at all.place should be shut down 👎
If you're in Laval, Ancien du Four is the place to go, especially if you're a fan of hearty sandwiches! The Saint-Dorothée sub is huge & absolutely amazing - packed with delicious, tender steak that's perfectly seasoned. But what really sets it apart is the sauce - it's incredible & definitely one of the best parts of the sandwich. Every time I go, I have to order it. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a satisfying, flavorful meal!
