I have visited Amir several times in person, & my previous experiences were always positive. That is why today's situation was especially disappointing.
I placed an order, & neither the delivery menu nor the in-store menu indicated that chicken dishes were unavailable. I waited 30 minutes before being informed that my order could not be prepared due to the lack of the main ingredient.
On top of that, I was asked to cancel the order myself & was warned about possible issues with receiving a refund. This is completely unacceptable. Customers should not be responsible for internal inventory issues or the failure to update the menu.
As a result, my dinner & evening were ruined. As a returning customer, I expected a much more responsible & professional approach.

I would appreciate some form of goodwill compensation for the inconvenience, & I trust measures will be taken to prevent similar situations in the future.

Made the mistake of buy one get one on Uber for their shish taouk. Very little chicken (which was dry anyways), & a pathetic tiny drop of garlic sauce for each bol. Why are they rationing garlic sauce? Used to be both hummus & garlic, now it's basically neither unless you pay 2.50$ on Uber for a tiny cup extra? Save your time & money & don't order from here.

Went there Monday before Habs game Ordered the shawarma plate. The beef taste like plastic & dry. My son chicken wrap is very dry. Not alot of people but still wait 10 minutes to get order You only go there once. I don't understand the 4 stars reviews.

I order a plate for take out on Sunday around 7:00pm. I can tell you that this is the worst Amir I went about the food quality. My shish taouk plate has no salad & I got half rice & chicken of what they served at other Amir. They don't deserve tips. Extremely disappointed.

I got the chicken shish taouk which was absolutely fantastic. Don't skip the potatoes with garlic sauce, it's truly the showstopper! I also got a baklava sampler that I really enjoyed. Great for a quick lunch on the go.

I caught a happy hour special & decided to give it a try. The chicken was juicy & flavorful, salad crisp & fresh. The potatoes were good at best. The pita bread could have been fresher I personally didn't care. I'll be back.. good amount of food for your money.
