Reviews describe Aloe Café as a warm, family-run spot with homemade focaccia, fresh ingredients, and authentic Italian flavors that feel like a little slice of Italy in the West Island. The sandwiches, especially the focaccia varieties, are repeatedly praised for being flavorful, generously portioned, and made with quality, with options that suit different diets, including gluten free and vegetarian choices. Coffee is treated seriously and consistently good, with homemade drinks and smooth cappuccinos noted. Guests highlight the friendly, attentive staff and the welcoming atmosphere, often calling it a hidden gem and a place that truly feels like home. The menu also features soups, salads, desserts, and drinks that pair well with the bread, and many reviewers mention value for price and a clean, cozy space with good music. Overall, Aloe Café is seen as reliable, fresh, and worth returning to for quality Italian inspired comfort food.
The sandwiches taste just like authentic Italian ones! We ordered the'Dolce Vita' & the'Big Night', & we already can't wait to return. The focaccia is homemade, & you don't get that heavy feeling you often do after eating out. On top of that, it was one of the best matcha lattes I've ever had. We also met the owner-she was incredibly warm & attentive with everyone. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
Nice cozy cafe. We went for a Cortado & a Cappuccino along with Torta al Limone & a Torta Caprese. Loved them all, especially Torta Caprese & Cortado.
We couldn't try the savoury items as they start that around 11 & we came in a bit early.
The staff were nice & friendly. Plenty of seating space inside.
Plenty of parking outside as it's a shared parking space with other businesses in the plaza.
Definitely recommended.
A fantastic restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere, friendly owners, a great selection of drinks, & of course amazing & delicious food!
I've been here many times & I absolutely love their homemade focaccia (so far the best I've ever had). Every time I visit, I try a new combination of dishes. Most recently, I tried the Sgt. Pepper Sandwich with a side of potatoes, a Mellow Yellow Smoothie, a Bitter Sweet Beet Salad & a slice of Queijada for dessert. All of which were delicious.
Overall, I'd have to say my fav sandwiches so far are the Big Sur & Carne Loca focaccia sandwiches.
If you are haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend going to Aloe Cafe.
This establishment is truly amazing, & the staff is wonderful. The food & drinks are exceptionally fresh & pure. Everything was so delicious that I did not have the opportunity to take a photograph. This place is highly recommended.

The focaccia was super tasty, the salad absolutely amazing, & the service was kind & welcoming. A lovely spot for a fresh, flavorful bite - highly recommend!
The food here is absolutely incredible. Worth coming here & try their sandwiches with a nice tasty cappuccino. Highly recommend especially if you love Italian sandwiches.
Fresh & delicious food, warm & welcoming staff, good tunes & delicious coffee. Definitely recommended, their focaccia alone is reason enough to visit. The owners were patient & extremely helpful with my girlfriend who has some dietary restrictions, they made something custom that she could eat that tasted exceptional.
