My two friends & I are from Ottawa. We came to Montreal for a street dance festival called JOAT (Jack of All Trades), & today was our last day before heading home. We decided to eat at Allo Mon Coco before catching our ride back, & all I have to say is that the service was excellent. The food came quickly, at the perfect temperature, & it was delicious, all thanks to the cooks. A big thank you as well to our waitress, Christina, who was very attentive, regularly checking in to make sure everything was good & refilling our coffee when needed. She works hard, is very polite, responsive, & always smiling. We truly appreciate her & the cooks. Thank you!

Menu was in English, so it's easy for tourists from another city or country.

Je prends souvent la banane gourmande, j'ai trouvé qu'il y avait moins de crème anglaise que d'habitude... Parcontre plus de chocolat en décoration donc le goût était un peu différent mais tout aussi bon.
Les patates servies à mon épouse étaient un peu croquantes (crues).
Ça n'a pas gâché notre brunch pour autant car nous avons passé un bon moment ❤?

Great brunch today. … we were served by Christina … she was very patient with our table even though the restaurant was full … she explained the menu choices very clearly … kudos to her … & at the same time she was training a new employee … we got all what we ordered. It was a great visit.

Food is always delicious & plenty of it too! Fresh & hot. Loud place but great for any time of day. Tons of excited people around. The service, while super friendly is not fast at all. 2025 but our server Christine was quite excellent! Definitely a great addition to your staff. She made sure everyone was happy with the food, prompt with the bill & food. Friendly!

Pour commencer, nous sommes arrivés & la table qu'ils nous ont donné était sale. Pas grave, nous avons compris qu'il y avait beaucoup de gens & nous avons demandé de la nettoyer. Ils nous ont offert du café, nous avons accepté & les verres étaient sales. Nous avons demandé de les changer. Après, on a attendu beaucoup pour qu'ils prennent notre commande. Quand la commande est arrivé, ils nous ont donné que 1 pain pour 2 personnes, quand habituellement nous recevons 2. Je comprends que des erreurs peuvent arriver, mais plus que 3 c'est beaucoup, surtout quand tu dois demander chaque fois une chose différente. Nous avons passé beaucoup de minutes dans l'établissement après avoir mangé & personne n'est venue nous voir pour nous demander si on voulait quelque chose de plus. La serveuse était quand même gentille, mais le service reçu n'est pas comparable à celui que nous avons reçu dans les autres succursales.

Disappointing experience. I was charged $23 for a'lox plate' that came with barely any lox - maybe two thin slices - & a bagel so small & bland it clearly wasn't from Fairmount or St-Viateur. Definitely looked like a cheap third-party supplier. We also tried the burger, which was overcooked, dry, & completely tasteless. For the price & location, there are far better places to eat in the area. This place is absolutely not worth it. Not recommended at all.
The only good thing was the decent service. Waitress felt horrible when the manager said they will not add any lox to my plate.

I don't know what to say bad about this place because there really isn't anything…. What ?!? Having to wait for a table ?!? Guess what ?? I do it because it's so good here ! 🤣

Everything was great from the food to the service, we really enjoyed our experience. The only thing that bothered us was the tipping process on the machine. There were no suggested percentage options, so we had to manually calculate & write in the amount each time. It may seem like a small detail, but it made the end of the meal unnecessarily stressful. This is actually the first time I've seen a payment machine without tip suggestions, & I really hope they consider updating it to make the checkout smoother for customers. Other than that, we had a lovely time!
