The service is often quick and courteous, with consistent praise for the atmosphere and coffee, though a few reviews mention occasional crowding or slower moments during peak times. Overall, it is seen as a reliable go-to spot to start the day or enjoy a casual meal with family or friends, with many returning for the dependable quality and warm welcome. Some feedback points to minor improvements like quieter hours or steadier attention during rushes, but the consensus remains strongly favorable.
I had an amazing experience, perfect for a relaxed & special occasion. The stuff we're friendly & welcoming. The food was delicious & I loved their breakfast plate with perfectly cooked eggs, fresh fruits & crispy potatoes. Highly recommend to everyone ^^
Allô Mon Coco is a safe pick if you're unsure where to go for breakfast or brunch. The food & drinks were great, the service was solid, & the prices were on par with other brunch spots. While it may not have the charm of some smaller independent places, the bigger space & consistent quality make it a reliable choice. The atmosphere inside was pleasant enough, but it's worth noting that this particular location is surrounded by a few crackheads. One even hit his crack pipe outside the window next to us while cheerfully waving at kids & parents inside. A moment I found absurdly amusing, though it might be off-putting to some. All in all, it's a good spot if you don't mind the quirky surroundings.
Well it's not my first brunch at Allo mon coco, I've been to other branches like marche central, acadie & mont-royal, but this branch was a bit weird. I ordered hard boiled eggs, got oeuf à la coque instead. I told the waitress the case she told me i'm wrong until i peeled the egg & it popped with the liquidy yellow. The waitress apologised said she was new but all I saw was her alone on the floor taking care of the customers. Do they not train their employees or at least have someone a bit more experienced on the shift with the new staff? Also, since when do you guys charge 1$ for the take-away box? Very weird.

Tons of seating so there was no wait. Staff was extremely friendly & bilingual so no issues there. The portions are HUGE so come hungry. The eggs Benedict were perfect with runny yokes. Coffee was topped off constantly. Great place for the price.
