Every time we visit Montreal we make sure to stop at Aldea. From the first time to the very recent visit this past week we always felt very at home. A a cozy atmosphere, with excellent food & service! It's a little piece of Portugal. The owner & family & very welcoming & we always have a great time. We met up with friends at Aldea Restaurant in Montreal - we came from Ottawa & our friends from Toronto - & it was the perfect spot for our get-together! The food was absolutely delicious, the service made us feel like kings & queens, & everything was spotless & beautifully presented. We were so impressed with the warm atmosphere & attention to detail. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal!

We stumbled upon this lovely place by chance. Even though we arrived just an hour before closing, they welcomed us warmly. The service was outstanding, & the atmosphere felt peaceful, relaxing, & family-oriented. The food was delicious, & I especially loved the interior design - elegant yet cozy. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be coming back.

The restaurant is nice & the prices are decent. I took the pica pau & the ameijoa a bulhao de pato, both are very good. Probably the best pica pau in Montreal. *** 5 years later update *** Still awsome, same high quality food & service. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a nice charcoal flavour. I highly recommend.

Excellent food!! Highly recommend! All of their plates are delicious, have never been disappointed. From seafood to any meat platter, to vegeterian or gluten free options. Very pleasant staff.

Aldea, a Portuguese restaurant, that serves big, hearty & delicious food for a very good price. Everything we took that night from the table d'hôte was delicious. Some dishes may have been a little bit too salty but barely anything that affected our entire experience. The waiters there gave excellent service too. I highly recommend it! We will be back!
