Food & service was excellent, fresh made with quality ingredients! Would recommend to anyone looking for a good restaurant without paying Michelin Star price.

Ce restaurant nous avait été fortement recommandé par des amis portugais. Accueil & service des plus chaleureux & mets délicieux! . Le menu & la carte des vins sont des plus intéressants. Nous avons déjà hâte à notre prochaine visite.
We felt like we were back in Portugal. Amazing service & you absolutely need to try the octopus. Once you try it, you'll know why we recommend it. Servers went above & beyond & you know they are the real thing. Enjoy!!

We met up with friends at Aldea Restaurant in Montreal - we came from Ottawa & our friends from Toronto - & it was the perfect spot for our get-together! The food was absolutely delicious, the service made us feel like kings & queens, & everything was spotless & beautifully presented. We were so impressed with the warm atmosphere & attention to detail. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal!

We stumbled upon this lovely place by chance. Even though we arrived just an hour before closing, they welcomed us warmly. The service was outstanding, & the atmosphere felt peaceful, relaxing, & family-oriented. The food was delicious, & I especially loved the interior design - elegant yet cozy. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be coming back.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Aldea. The staff were helpful with recommendations & the food was outstanding. Every bite of every dish was thoughtfully prepared & delicious. I especially recommend the Alheira sausage & grilled octopus tapas.
Great evening at Aldea. We chose tapas & enjoyed each dish. Our waiter was the best. We had shrimp, scallops, salmon tartare & fresh cheese. A lovely Portuguese red finished it off. Their plated entrees looked great. Recommend & will visit again, next trip to Montreal.

The food was authentic Portuguese, fresh fish & seafood with quality ingredients such as extra virgin olive oil. All dishes were delicious with nice presentation. It felt almost Like we were in Portugal. Loved the experience, the service was great & attentive. I recommend this restaurant for those who appreciate Portuguese Cuisine, will be back for sure . Visited Montreal & had booked reservations at other iconic & can't miss restaurants. We very disappointed in our experiences. Instead we just randomly found ALDEA in the Plateau & it had a far superior experience, superior service & outstanding food with huge portions for reasonable pricing. Loved dinner so much we went back for lunch the next day! They were also nice enough to put on a Championship Football match for my husband. Will visit again & strongly recommend above other'iconic' restaurants with big PR machines.

Une expérience exceptionnelle au restaurant Aldea ! Le service a été rapide & efficace, avec une équipe très sympathique qui nous a accueillis chaleureusement.
La propreté des tables était irréprochable & nos verres étaient toujours remplis.
De plus, chaque plat que nous avons reçu était parfaitement chaud & délicieux.
Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation pour un repas agréable & bien servi !
The restaurant is nice & the prices are decent. I took the pica pau & the ameijoa a bulhao de pato, both are very good. Probably the best pica pau in Montreal. *** 5 years later update *** Still awsome, same high quality food & service. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a nice charcoal flavour. I highly recommend.
