An amazing Portuguese restaurant. Lovely staff & delicious food. They did not have any chicken or veg options for me so i was gonna eat soup but they offered to make special meal for me & i loved it. dessert & wine were really good too!
We've been coming here shortly thereafter they opened.
We've never left disappointed.
From the service to the food & wine selection! Authentic Portuguese food at its refined finest.
You will be wondering why you haven't come here before!
Had an excellent lunch at Aldea an authentic Portuguese flavors at their best. The fried cod was perfectly crisp on the outside & tender inside, a true highlight of the meal. The service was warm & the atmosphere inviting, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy traditional Portuguese cuisine.
Great evening at Aldea. We chose tapas & enjoyed each dish. Our waiter was the best. We had shrimp, scallops, salmon tartare & fresh cheese. A lovely Portuguese red finished it off. Their plated entrees looked great. Recommend & will visit again, next trip to Montreal.
The food was authentic Portuguese, fresh fish & seafood with quality ingredients such as extra virgin olive oil. All dishes were delicious with nice presentation. It felt almost Like we were in Portugal. Loved the experience, the service was great & attentive. I recommend this restaurant for those who appreciate Portuguese Cuisine, will be back for sure . Thank you
Our new favourite place. Family run business with dedicated people. Food is excellent & great Portuguese wine selection. Very friendly & nice ambiance.
We are in Montreal for the Fringe. We enjoyed a delicious meal at Aldea. I had the morue & my partner had the grilled sea bass. We thought the moules appetizer was so good we slurped the last of the broth with the Portuguese bread. The service was very friendly & answered our questions about the menu & choosing a wine. It was a beautiful summer evening to savor the food & company.
Aldea is one of the really authentic & delicious Portuguese places in Montreal. Had a sardine filet appetizer which was really yummy & a Monkfish rice that was divine. First time here for lunch but it's just as good as dinner here!
Amazing! Vous aimez le poisson? Vous êtes à la bonne place. Une cuisine raffinée & 100% originale Portuguese. Il faut réserver pour ne pas manquer cette expérience. Excellent service.
If you ask me, Aldea is one of the best (if not the best) portuguese retaurants in town. You feel welcomed by their staff who are kind & professional, & the food quality is always exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to locals & out-of-towners alike. Great date spot if you want to impress, & also excellent for a business lunch. It's a real beauty of a place!
The food was excellent & the service was good. It seems like a small family run restaurant offering good quality portuguese food. We tried the octupus, fish, & steak with shripms plates, & honestly, they were all delicious. It is a bit pricey, but it's worth it.
