The food was good, but not amazing. Some dishes were tasteless while others were quite good. The service was good & attentive, but waiters were a bit pushy. Overall, I would have to reconsider if I will be back, but it was good to at least give it a try.View more

We had an excellent dinner at Aldea - we started with the fresh cheese & had a complimentary beef fritter followed by grilled squid, octopus, & steak entrees. Everything was delicious, really precisely plated with brocolli rabe, roasted potatoes & carrots. The portions are generous! The dessert was lovely, we had the flan, rice pudding & chocolate mousse - all very nice. Excellent service. We will be back next time we visit Montreal.View more

Everything about this restaurant is top notch. We just waked on the street when we noticed a great atmosphere in the window. We decided to try it & everyone, four of us, thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. We had fish of the day, octopus, filet, muscles. All were fresh & great tasting. The service was also top notch.
