A.M. Dejeuner Dîner specializes in a diverse selection of griddled crêpes, ranging from sweet fruit-filled options to savory variations layered with melted cheeses and fresh proteins. The menu prominently features cold-pressed juices and blended fruit smoothies designed to complement the hearty egg-based dishes and fluffy pancake stacks. Patrons encounter a bright dining environment characterized by efficient service and a focus on essential, high-quality ingredients sourced for consistent flavor profiles. Specialized beverage stations offer customized refreshments that pair effectively with the extensive array of griddled items available. The establishment maintains a standardized approach to culinary preparation, ensuring that each platter reflects the signature style associated with casual pancake and crêpe houses. Every dish focuses on functional presentation and robust portion sizes suited for straightforward, ingredient-focused dining requirements across every seasonal menu rotation.
A.M. Dejeuner Dîner is widely regarded as a top destination for breakfast and brunch, frequently praised for its generous portions, flavorful food, and beautiful presentation. Many guests highlight the friendly, efficient, and bilingual service as a standout feature, with several servers receiving personal recognition for their professionalism and warm attitude. The restaurant boasts a clean, modern, and attractive decor that creates a welcoming atmosphere. While the experience is overwhelmingly positive, some patrons note that the popularity of the restaurant can lead to significant wait times on weekends and that the busy dining room may become quite loud. Although the vast majority of feedback is glowing, a small number of reviews mention inconsistencies in food quality or issues with noise levels and coffee temperature, yet most diners express a strong desire to return and highly recommend the location to others.
Oh Look, a Diner That Refuses to Feed You Flavored Air. The Horror.
If your ideal morning involves sitting in an overpriced, minimalist bistro, staring at a single, paper-thin crepe that looks like a damp napkin while sipping warm, translucent dishwater masquerading as'light roast,' please skip A.M. Déjeuner Dîner. You will be utterly traumatized.
This mid-priced diner clearly missed the memo that modern breakfast is supposed to be tiny, pretentious, & leave you searching for a food truck twenty minutes later.
The Crepes: A Blatant Disregard for'Delicate'
I ordered the bacon crepes with bacon marmalade. Now, any trendy brunch spot knows a crepe is supposed to be a paper-thin, fragile sheet of batter that dissolves the moment syrup touches it.
Instead, the kitchen had the absolute nerve to serve thick, substantial, unapologetic crepes.
The Texture: They were wonderfully thick & dense enough to actually feel like a meal.
The Bacon Marmalade: Absolutely incredible. Sweet, savory, & loaded with real bacon. It's a total menace to anyone trying to pretend they're enjoying a plain grapefruit for breakfast. Just pure, savory, delicious chaos.
The Coffee: Actual Caffeine, Not Warm Tinted Water
Let's address the beverage situation. Most places love serving coffee so weak & watery you can practically read the morning news through the bottom of the mug.
☕ The Shocking Discovery
The coffee here was actually nice & strong. It had real flavor, actual kick, & didn't require six sugars just to make it taste like something. The audacity of a diner giving you real, robust coffee to start your day is frankly staggering.
Service: They Ruined My Bad Mood
I also have a serious complaint about our waitress.
Usually, when you go out to eat, you expect a nice, healthy dose of modern food-service indifference-maybe a server who treats bringing you a refill as a personal insult or looks at you like you're ruining their day just by existing.
Not here. This waitress was so absurdly friendly, sweet, & attentive that she completely shattered my cynical exterior. She left me with absolutely zero excuses to be grumpy. Her service was so infuriatingly good that I was forced to break protocol: I couldn't just leave a standard tip. I had to throw down an extra tip on top of the regular tip just to compensate for how delightful she was. The sheer nerve of incredible hospitality!
The Verdict
For a very reasonable mid-range price, I was forced to sit there, drink properly brewed coffee, get treated like royalty, & eat thick, bacon-laden crepes that were shockingly good.
If you prefer your breakfast overpriced, micro-portioned, tasteless, & served with a scowl, stay far away from A.M. Déjeuner Dîner. As for me? I'll be back the second my stomach makes room for round two.
What a great place to enjoy breakfast . You'll be lucky enough to be served by Charles who has an infectious smile & pleasant demeanor. Definitely will leave with a full happy belly & the bacon is cooked to perfection too.
I ordered the Colosse #3 from the early breakfast menu & overall had a great experience. Everything was fresh, tasty, & well prepared-eggs were perfectly done (sunny side), the potatoes were well seasoned, & the crepe came with generous strawberries & cream. The plate also included sausage, crispy bacon, & brown bread, making it a very satisfying & great-value meal at $14.99.
My colleague ordered a savory crepe & enjoyed it just as much. The portions were generous, & overall the food quality really stood out. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area.
The only area for improvement would be the coffee. It tasted a bit watered down, & it was consistent across both cups. A well-brewed coffee would really elevate an otherwise excellent breakfast experience.
Overall, a great spot for breakfast with delicious food-just hoping the coffee can match the quality of the dishes next time!

I've been to this brunch spot twice, but I wasn't blown away either time. The first time, I got a wrap which was great, a good portion. This time, I had an Avocado & Bacon skillet, which didn't have a lot of avocado but was generous with the bacon. I also shared pancakes with my partner, which were dry, though the fruits were tasty. However, something in this restaurant irritates my allergies, possibly going back to when they were a pet friendly cafe, so I won't be returning.
Super, j'ai beaucoup aimé la diversité du menu, le service & la présentation des plats. Seul bémol; je trouve le goût des saucisses & du bacon un peu bas de gamme & molasses.
Very tasty. Portions are huge. Very interesting & original combination of flavours in some dishes. We had the Parisian french toast & the bacon & cheddar crepe. We had fun mixing both dishes, I think the Parisian with bacon & cheddar would be a great addition to the menu!
This was the first time we visited this new breakfast place. The service seemed confused & were given 1 coffee over a 45 minute period with no refills. This seemed odd as we were located next to the bar & entry & wait staff was milling about. My husband ordered The Traditional, a bacon & egg plate & was asked if he would like regular or "campagne" toast. He chose the latter only to discover at the bill an 80 cent upcharge fee. The head's up would have been appreciated. I had the cheddar & bacon crepe with bacon marmelade. The crepe was delicious but unfortunately, the marmalade was burned so the flavour overwhelmed the deliciousness of everything else. We'll try this in a few months again to see if opening wrinkles can be ironed out. For now, disappointing.
