?Cependant, plusieurs points viennent teinter l'expérience :
Art/experience wise: Not my cup of tea - found the animation & voices much like a kids tv show, & execution with slightly blurry projectors a tad rough
Food wise: Montreal has a high bar & this was below midpoint
There was no one highlight. The entire evening was a sheer delight, an unforgettable experience. Lots of surprises. Hugely creative. I recommend this Dining Experience to everyone.
Excellent service.
The saltiest bill I've ever received for the least enjoyable experience..
I can't bare the fact that this cost me & my wife 540$ for the''experience'' & the drink pairing. The cost for this event is about 2-3 times what anyone would really wish to pay for this. It felt cheap & was definitely not worth it.
- No live animation, just a cheesy & poorly made video with bad voiceover. (Only in english too)
- Cooked my tiny filet mignon''Well-Done'' because it steamed in the can they put it in.
- Food was''decent'' but were small in portion & really basic (Like the bitter lettuce leafs & plain''paint'' dressings.. cool in concept but bad in practice & execution).
- Drinks were just sparkling wine, white wine, red wine & IPA 70% limoncello ... could have made cool cocktails or something? (Like some of the videos showed)
- The room was hot, AC was not working so they had to pull out fans mid service to help.
- No guidance to find the place on the outside, confusing to say the least.
It seems they even do comment filtering & mislead people on the official website:
- On their website reviews: Google 4.6/5 (1188 reviews)
- Actual review on Google: 3.8/5 (115 reviews)
This''experience'' has ruined what these types of events actually consist of & I won't attend any of them anymore. It's really the price point vs execution & value that struck a nerve in me for what this was.
Avoid this place & go to a real fancy restaurant if you have the money to spend.
I recently celebrated my birthday here & have mixed feelings about the experience.
First, I want to recognize Tommy, my server. He was absolutely fantastic attentive, professional, friendly, & genuinely made the evening enjoyable. His service was exceptional & is the main reason I left with any positive feelings about my visit.
Unfortunately, the food, particularly the main course, was a major disappointment. I ordered the steak & it arrived significantly overcooked, dry, & lacking the quality I expected given the restaurant's reputation & the price of the experience. What made it even more disappointing was seeing the steaks served to other guests at my table. Their portions were noticeably thicker, juicier, & cooked to a beautiful medium rare, while mine looked overcooked, dry, & lacked flavor.
Since this was my birthday dinner, the main course was the part of the evening I was most looking forward to, but it ended up being the biggest letdown. I was also surprised that no one checked in after the meal was served, as the issue could have been addressed at the time.
Even now, looking back at photos & videos from the evening, as well as other guests' experiences, it's clear that the quality & presentation of my meal fell well below what others received. For the price, I expected much better consistency & value.
Tommy's outstanding service deserves recognition, & I sincerely appreciate the effort he put into making the evening enjoyable. Unfortunately, excellent service alone couldn't make up for a disappointing meal on what was supposed to be a special celebration.
It was pretty bad, around 800 dollars for sample sizes of food. Service was fine, nothing special. The waiter's tip was already included when we paid, around 108 dollars for a mediocre service then he asked for 18% more. I wouldn't recommend at all
