Great beer, great service, but the food is just gas station-level stuff with fancy names. In particular the Flammekueche Poulet Buffalo. Super salty chicken balls (like Nuggets) with super salty creme-sure & caramelized onion that was impossible to find. Update: after a year I went again last night. It has improved a little on the food front, the beer is good as usual, but I had to wait over 25 minutes just to order one from the table we were at.
Our waitress was good & relatively quick. However, our reservation was given to another group without a call to confirm if we were headed to the resto. We had to wait nearly 20 minutes to get seated. I understand there's a 15 minutes policy but we arrived within those 15 minutes. The overall lunch took far too long for a downtown establishment!
Nous avons été placé à l'étage où il faisait bcp trop chaud! On a demandé de changé de place mais difficile pour un groupe de 8. Notre serveuse n'était pas très à l'écoute. Comme on dit elle était sur là job & semblait très pressée & impatience. Donc pas le genre d'ambiance que l'on recherchait. C'est pas notre première fois chez vous mais la première fois qu'on est déçu!
Il y a eu une mésentente avec la réservation en ligne mais on nous a installé au 2e étage après 20 min d'attente , mais un coup installé le service a été impeccable
I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit to your restaurant. Overall, I must commend the service & quality of the food; they were both delightful as usual.
Unfortunately, I encountered an unpleasant experience with a member of your staff who was managing the reception area & assigning tables during my visit. The individual in question exhibited behavior that was notably rude, displayed a sense of arrogance, & seemed to carry a false attitude. This demeanor resulted in an uncomfortable situation for us as guests, leaving us standing, waiting for an extended period, & feeling somewhat humiliated.
As a long-time patron of your establishment, I have always appreciated the warm & welcoming atmosphere. However, the attitude displayed by this particular receptionist or waitress was disheartening. It seemed to be driven by ego, & it significantly detracted from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.
I wanted to bring this matter to your attention in the hope that it can be addressed appropriately. I believe this feedback could contribute positively to maintaining the high standards of customer service & satisfaction your restaurant is known for.
