I've been going to 3 Amigos on Sainte-Catherine for many years, & I always have a great time. The food is consistently excellent, fresh, & full of flavor. The music & ambience make it a fun place to relax & enjoy the night.
The staff are always welcoming, attentive, & kind. They go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly. Our waiter made the experience even better by checking in at the right times & making sure we were well taken care of.
This place never disappoints. Great food, great service, & a great atmosphere every time. I highly recommend it.

Service vraiment rapide de la part d'Alfonso. Il nous a vraiment impressionner. il est vraiment gentil, il fait des blagues. Honnetement il fait vraiment toute la difference. On l'avait deja eu comme serveur aussi une fois par le passé, & on l'avait bien aime aussi, mais cette fois ci c'etait encore mieux.
'twas amazing!!!!!!! food is really great! I highly recommend Tres Amigos if you want to surprise someone on his/her birthday! They're very festive. Staffs are so friendly & constantly asking if everything is good.
I've been going to the one downtown for over 25 years & let me tell you, the started cheapening out on the home made hot sauce, used to be very good & they changed it a few months ago, to the point where it is completely tasteless & just hot without any taste, just burning hot, it's orange watered down liquid & looks like Franks hot sauce you would buy at the super market. Bring back the other sauce & stop being cheap with your customers.

We recently got this place recommended & decided to check it out while visiting Montreal from Toronto. It truly exceeded our expectations-the quality, ambiance, service, & variety on the menu were all impressive. As vegetarians, we were blown away by the number of options available. The chimichangas were absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, & the pricing was incredibly reasonable.

Used to have way better tasting food, now it's very bland, they are nowhere near what athletic Mexican food are known for. The food isn't fresh, & the flavors are lacking spices. That being said, this is a convenient spot & has good vibes for a fun night out, but if you're looking for good tasting food, you won't get it.

very flavourful food for decent prices. i especially love the way they cook their rice, it's juicy & deliciously aromatic with tomatoes. great overall restaurant for chicken & rice cravings.
the staff is also quite friendly, they were very talkative & joked with us.
We went to 3 Amigos in Montreal as a group of five girls yesterday. The food was great - everything came out hot, fresh, & really tasty. The atmosphere was fun & the restaurant itself has a nice vibe.
The only downside was the service from our waiter. He repeatedly called me'sir' even though we were a table of all women. One of my friends politely corrected him, but the interaction afterward felt a bit uncomfortable.
Aside from that moment, the experience was good overall & the food definitely delivered. If the service had been a bit more attentive & respectful, it would have been a perfect visit.

L'assiette de 3 tacos de carne asada était décevante: viande dure tendineuse & à peine tiède sur 3 trop petits tacos: dès ma 1ere bouchée, je grimacai. Je me suis rabattu sur la bière en spécial & les frites accompagnant les tacos. Je me suis forcé: n'ai pu manger que 2 des 3 tacos, quémandant un morceau de quesadilla tendre, chaud & bien meilleur de ma convive. Elle a confirmé que ma viande carne asada était trop dure (pas assez cuite ou mal coupée?). Je me demande si je vais retourner à ce restaurant car petitesse du plat & viande'lacet de bottine' servie quasi froide. Service ok. La température inadéquate des plats servis semble être un problème élémentaire récurrent dans ce restaurant.

Mets savoureux abordables (Hors d'oeuvres: calmars frits cajun; plats principaux special lunch chili con carne $10 , special lunch assiette Pollo chipotle $12, le tout en quantité abondante. Les assiettes gagneraient à être chauffées avant d'y mettre les portions car la savoureuse nourriture servie a refroidi trop vite. Service attentionné & sympathique. Les hors d'oeuvres en rétrospective furent de trop & les 2 plats principaux nous auraient amplement suffi malgré que nous étions affamés. Nacho & salsa sur la table gratis à volonté. Boisson gazeuse $3. Nous y retournerons. Belle carte d'apéros avec nombreuses margaritas différentes, mezcal, etc. Menus plastifiés. Près de station de MÉTRO Guy.
Pour les anniversaires, on m'a dit que casquette Tres Amigos & gâteau gratis au fêté: ca donne le goût d'y retourner pour fêter quelqu'un.
