This strip mall Chinese place looks unpromising from the outside, but within the food & service are excellent. We had fried & soup dumplings, which the server explained were hot & explosive, & he showed us how to eat them. Not a fancy restaurant, but an excellent value.

Ordered delivery from this restaurant this evening. Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The fried rice was decent, but everything else (general tao, spring rolls, dumplings) were barely edible. Even the soup was suspect… I've never seen brown algae floating in a Won Ton soup. Will not order from here again.
This hidden gem of a restaurant serves exceptional food, especially their dumplings. The General Tsao chicken consisted of proper pieces of chicken (& not a slim piece of chicken meat surrounded by overwhelmingly deep fried batter). The proportions & selection were just right, each plate was plenty for the typical person. For those that are hungry, their variety of choices would remedy that hunger. As for the service they were kind & courteous ensuring that we lacked nothing as well as inquiring about feedback about the taste. The decor is modern & the eloquent painted murals add a nice touch. I'll mention that we were served in French but I'm certain that the staff can serve in English as well as many Chinese dialects. I've added 1930 Shanghai to my list of favorite Chinese style restaurants. Thanks to the staff at 1930 Shanghai. I'll be seeing you often from this point forwards.
The food is cooked perfectly. It was delicious. I liked some more than others but in general it was very good. Here's what I ordered: -Beef & curry fried dumplings -Beef & chicken skewer (I liked the less, meat was too hard to chew) -Lotus leaf wirh sticky rice & chicken -Imperial rolls -Chicken & Shiitake mushrooms xiao long bao -Seasme balls -Friend creamy custard buns For arround 70$
Went there this week, wanted to try new dumplings place. What a disappointment. The food was not good. & what was worst is the service. The young lady who served us, was not welcoming from the beginning, not friendly at all. Very rushed. We ordered juice for our 4 years old daughter she almost threw on the table the cup & the box of juice. We were shocked by such attitude. The rest of the food was brought to the table the same way.
I ordered quite a few times from this restaurant & I was always satisfied with the food! It's fresh & tasty (especially the dumplings! I'm drooling as I'm typing my reviews!) the price are very affordable for what you get & the staffs are friendly!

Just discovered this gem! Portion of the soup dumpling were very generous compared to more renowned places! So delicious. I will come back & recommend this place to others as well
Je recommande, c'est vraiment très bon. Ils ont la meilleure sauce aux arachides ! Nous commandons régulièrement le Poulet sauce aux arachides & le Poulet Général Tao, & nous sommes toujours satisfait. Bonne portion, prix raisonnable. Nous aimons aussi varier les saveurs des Xiao Long Bao & des Dumplings, vapeur ou fris, c'est un bel accompagnement. Les thé aux perles (Bubble Tea) sont aussi très bon ! I almost don't want to rate this place so high, in case more people find it! Some of the BEST dumplings I've had on the South Shore. Xiao long bao were beautiful, tons of flavour, & plenty of soup. Lots of options for fried & steamed dumplings, as well as more typical plates for friends who prefer noodles/fried foods. Service was a little confused (different servers kept coming back to my table after I'd already paid) but I can't wait to go back!
