At Hangar 1825, the 6th edition of Quebec's largest Japanese street market brings together a wide mix of restaurants, food stands and specialty vendors. Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival 2025
June 12th to 15th
For its 24th edition, Crescent Street becomes the pulsing heart of Grand Prix weekend. From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the music blares, the booths light up and crowds pack the street to soak in every electrifying moment. Local restaurant terraces overflow with energy, glasses clink and the whole strip feels like one giant celebration.

Held in Montreal-Nord and organized by Les Fourchettes de l'Espoir, this food-focused gathering marks its 9th edition. Participants showcase original meatball recipes inspired by various cultures, using ingredients like meat, fish or vegetables. The public can sample the creations from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in a festive, community-driven atmosphere. A jury of well-known personalities, including the beloved Soeur Angèle, will crown the winning meatball of the year.
June 21st
Strangers in the Night is a unique gourmet gala, which debuted in 2005. The initial event was an unbridled success and offered a great opportunity for the community to get together for local causes. From 10 restaurants offering their varied menus on site and two local bands performing live, this special soirée has grown to over 60 restaurants serving their delicious mouth-watering signature dishes.
2025 promises to be the best edition yet as Strangers in the Night is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year with a blowout evening kicking off Summer in style featuring the Legendary, Rock N Roll Hall of Famers The Beach Boys live on stage with Special Guests The Damn Truth performing a special "After Show" performance.
June 19th to 24th
For six days, Parc de l'Ancienne-cour-de-triage transforms into a festive hub with games, concerts and a generous food offering. The Marché Tropical features around thirty local artisans, surrounded by pop-up restaurants and bars. The concept spot Merci Tâta returns with its plant-based plates and original cocktails, joined by six new food kiosks. The iconic tiki bar rounds out the experience in a laid-back, waterfront atmosphere along the Lachine Canal.
June 20th to 22nd
The 31st edition takes over Windsor Station and the Rio Tinto Courtyard with two food zones, themed pavilions and over 400 products to discover. Imported beers, tasting bites and new selections from Quebec, Italy and Belgium fuel three full days of sampling. The Italian Pavilion highlights aperitivo pairings, the Petit Pub focuses on Belgian brews and the Quebec Pavilion features breweries like Auberge Sutton Brouërie and Terre à boire.
Festival International Cubaneando
June 20th to 22nd
At Centre Lasallien, the 14th edition of this urban festival highlights the culinary traditions of Cuba and several guest cultures. Food stands feature typical dishes from Latin America, the Arab world and Muslim communities, with a strong halal offering. The vibrant atmosphere is powered by live music, performances and family-friendly entertainment.
June 27th to 29th
Near the Lachine Canal, Hangar 1825 hosts a weekend gathering of cider producers, food artisans and acclaimed chefs for a celebration of local flavours. The event features tasting stations, a chill-out zone and food pairing workshops led by Aliments du Quebec. In Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel, the 6th edition of this event brings together more than 40 exhibitors, including microbreweries, vineyards, distilleries and regional food producers. Under a large tent set up along the St. Lawrence River, drinks and bites are served in a laid-back, festive setting. Saturday's gastronomic 5 à 7 features creations by Sandra Plourde, joined by Jean-Christophe Nadeau, both familiar faces from Quebec's culinary TV scene.

Each month, a different part of the world is celebrated through music, flavours and featured artists, though July's theme has yet to be announced. On Rousselot Street, Montreal's oldest Japanese summer festival returns with a new name and a colourful new edition. Festival International Nuits d'Afrique
July 8th to 20th
In the Quartier des spectacles, the 39th edition features more than 700 artists from over 30 countries, with indoor performances and a wide range of free outdoor concerts. The Marché Tombouctou and the Promenade des Saveurs add a vibrant, flavourful dimension with colourful stands offering African and Creole specialties. In Little Italy, on Esplanade Tranquille and throughout other parts of Montreal, this vibrant festival brings Italian culture to life with concerts, film screenings, opera shows and plenty of delicious fare.
