Wine and cider lovers, the Foire des vins et cidres d'ici is back at last! For this third edition at Jean-Talon Market you can look forward to an even bigger program, filled with new experiences to help you celebrate local wines and ciders.
On Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., over 15 wineries and cider makers will be showcasing their products and offering tastings. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious culinary experience presented by chef Clément Boivin's Cuisine Libre! team, as well as attend facinationg pairing workshops ($) given by renowned sommelier Kristine Mansuy.

Are you ready to discover the richness and subtleties of our guest producers' wines and ciders? Admission to the event is free, tasting glasses are $3.50. Tastings will vary between $1 and $5 at the discretion of the wineries and cideries.
Unique Cuisine Libre! culinary experience at Marché Jean-Talon
Pairing good wine with good food is a tradition that the Foire des vins et cidres d'ici is sure to honor! Jean-Talon Market invites you to enjoy a unique and delicious culinary experience on the market's mezzanine (on the second floor) on Saturday August 10 from 12pm to 3pm and 6pm to 9pm and Sunday August 11 from 12pm to 3pm!
The team of chef Clément Boivin (winner of season 3 Chef de bois, formerly Au Pied de cochon and La Cabane d'à côté), will welcome you with a refined and diversed selection of small entrées. You'll be able to select the appetizers of your choice from an à la carte menu using a punch card. You'll also ge to discover a curated selection of ciders and wines from some of the producers attending the festival.
Completely transformed for the occasion, the mezzanine will offer an informal, strolling environment in which you will be able to enjoy your appetizers. These will be prepared with local and seasonal ingredients, in honor of the summer's abundance and the wide variety of products from local producers.

Two wine and cider pairing workshops led by sommelier Kristine Mansuy
The Foire will also be an opportunity to learn more about Quebec wines and ciders, through two workshops presented by renowned sommelier Kristine Mansuy. One will be dedicated to Quebec ciders and the other, to Quebec wines. These workshops will enable you to learn more about the innovations of Quebec producers. You will gain a new appreciation of the different products showcased at the fair, and you'll be able to impress your friends and family with your new knowledge !
