Oktoberfest at the Montreal Public Markets - Event
Ad

Oktoberfest is back in Montreal's Public Markets for a festive and gourmet edition.
The beer-themed event will kick off at Atwater Market for its third edition, in collaboration with the SDC Les Quartiers du Canal, on Saturday, September 28th, and Sunday, September 29th. It will continue at Jean-Talon Market on Saturday, October 5th, and Sunday, October 6th, for its second edition, and for the first time, it will conclude at Maisonneuve Market on Saturday, October 12th.

In a cozy fall atmosphere, with great food and festive music, visitors will have the chance to enjoy beers from around twenty microbreweries. Each day will be filled with free activities and games for an even more enjoyable experience.

Entry is free, and tasting glasses are available for $3.50. Microbreweries will offer uniform pricing for tastings: $4 for 5 oz and $7 for 10 oz.

GOOD FOOD AND FREE ACTIVITIES

At Atwater Market, in collaboration with the SDC Les Quartiers du Canal, a new terrace will be set up to make the celebration even more fun, with games and prizes to be won. Visitors will also be able to savor delicious pretzels along with beer from the Siboire microbrewery. Two well-known restaurateurs will also be present: Satay Brothers, offering new sandwiches created in partnership with Boucherie de Tours, and Aylwin Barbecue, serving homemade hot dogs and sauerkraut! Families can enjoy free pumpkin decorating workshops, inflatable games, and face painting for kids, all to the beat of various musical performances.

At Jean-Talon Market, in addition to the numerous microbrewers, there will be activities for everyone, including mini-golf and gourmet workshops. The market's restaurant area will be particularly lively as the summer season winds down, with pretzels, an Oktoberfest staple, completing the menu.

Finally, at Maisonneuve Market, a restaurant area will offer visitors paella, oysters, pretzels, hot dogs, and sauerkraut. Inflatable games and giant games, along with face painting for children, will entertain families in a festive atmosphere. Music will be provided by the Folk band of Dan Livingstone, singer-songwriter Alexandre Légaré, and the'90s beats of DJ Kelly.
