Outdoor Activities
Les Amis de la Montagne invite families and friends to enjoy a variety of winter activities at Mount Royal Park. Visitors can go tubing down the slopes, skate on the large refrigerated rink near Beaver Lake, explore snowy trails on snowshoes, or ski along sixteen kilometers of cross-country paths.
Equipment and Lessons
All necessary equipment is available for rent on site. The Mount Royal cross-country ski school offers lessons for all levels, for both children and adults, guided by certified instructors.
Special Offers
A 20 percent discount is available on all rentals from Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. until closing. Montreal residents under 17 can rent skis and snowshoes for free when accompanied by an adult and presenting ID.
Practical Information
Activities run from 10 a.m. to 8 or 9 p.m., with earlier openings at 9 a.m. on weekends. Equipment can be rented until one hour before closing. For more details, visit www.lemontroyal.qc.ca.
