38TH EDITION: INTERNATIONAL FIREWORKS COMPETITION
Montréal's annual international fireworks competition, L'International des Feux Loto-Québec brings several of the city's most iconic features together for 30 minutes of eye-popping fun, over the course of several weeks.
The fireworks are launched from inside Six Flags amusement park La Ronde (situated on Île Sainte-Hélène across from the historic Old Port of Montréal) and explode over the St. Lawrence River right beside the spectacular Jacques-Cartier Bridge. The best place to watch the fireworks is from the grandstands in La Ronde (tickets available).
Attracting world-class pyrotechnics teams, the competition marries music to this ancient fiery art in a percussive, "pyromusical" display that can be seen and heard right across the city.
Watch the Fireworks from the River
During the Loto-Québec International Fireworks Competition, AML cruises offer a unique way to experience the shows directly from the St. Lawrence River.
Departing from the Grand Quai of Montréal, these cruises provide an exceptional view of the sky lit up over the city. The show's soundtrack is broadcast live on board, adding to the immersive atmosphere.
Outdoor decks are open to passengers, creating the perfect setting to enjoy the fireworks on the water.
