For the 13th year, the Jean Lapointe Foundation invites Quebecers to take part in the 28 Days Alcohol-Free Challenge to support its prevention and addiction support programs. This year, participants can join in January or February, with two teams of ambassadors: the January team with Maripier Morin, Meeker Guerrier, and Chloée Deblois, and the February team with Jean-Marie Lapointe and Danny St Pierre.
While many Quebecers are currently taking on the challenge, others are preparing for February. To inspire participants to enjoy alternative drinks, Danny St Pierre, returning ambassador for a second edition, is sharing simple, accessible, and festive mocktail recipes. Some of his favorites include:
Danny's favorite: a large glass filled with ice, juice from half a lemon (with peel), and a non-alcoholic Gose beer, perfect for two mocktails to share.
Wood Mist: an original tea-based creation.
Other options are also available in the Challenge Box, featuring 14 Quebec-made products for $94. Proceeds go directly to the Foundation to support its prevention and treatment programs for both youth and adults.
Each $28 registration helps raise awareness for two young people about the risks of addiction.
Registrations and donations are open at www.defi28jours.com
