Service impeccable. Note globale:4,5

Do not be fooled by the location (Marché Central) this place is beautifully decorated & the terrasse feels like a seaside garden! Excellent Lebanese food (I would know, I have 100% Lebanese taste buds trained by a top chef Têta) Excellent wine & Arak, DELICIOUS salatet el raheb, halloum & mushroom sauté, shish taouk with yummy garlic (toum) & so much more. Do not miss the LOULWA dessert : almond semolina, ashta & sugar sirop, fragranced with eau de rose & eau de fleurs d'oranger. Friendly & efficient service every time. Book & Go. Now.
Giovanni notre serveur était A+ ! Merci encore & à la prochaine!
We went last month to Montreal & had twice a dinner at zyara (group of 8) we are used to the Lebanese cuisine & we found that everything was well done & very tasty, the service was very professional & the atmosphere pleasant. I'm surprised to read some comments about adding an 18% tip which is a policy in any restaurant for a group over 6 We highly recommend this restaurant & will come again at our next trip. Cheers

We went slightly after usual lunch time & the place was not too busy. Staff were all extremely friendly & helpful about answering questions & took the trouble to double-check on an allergy issue. The food was served quickly & was all excellent. The pita was served fresh to the table & clearly made either in house or very locally & came with a dish of fresh Zatar in oil. The fattoush salad was fresh, tasty & came in a generous portion. The lentil soup was also excellent (It is a pureed soup, fyi). We also had the Makanek sausages (If you like lemon, they are great), the chicken shish taouk, & chicken schwarma. Everything was fresh, well seasoned & well cooked & portion sizes are ample. They nailed the cook on the side potatoes (Batata Harra). Nothing was over-spiced, but everything was flavorful. I would definitely go back for a special occasion.
It's a bar parading as a restaurant. If you're gonna have a 5a7 with dozens of people, don't accept reservations for dine-ins. The atmosphere was awful. I should have left elsewhere to be honest so I'll take some blame for that
It was a Sunday, most of the restaurant was booked for a private event but there isn't a private reception room. So there were kids running around & screaming everywhere. The staff was in such a rush they never filled up our water, never cleaned our table, we had to constantly keep calling them back for service. They got annoyed which made them rude & us angry. Several other reservations came in but when they saw the private event happening with the kids taking over the place, they all complained & left, which we should have done. Only good thing, the food was good.
