About us

With a passion for restaurants and more than 30 years of experience in the food industry, Papa Elie and his son Ziad were able to create a unique family business: ZEEZ.

Ziad began his career at hospitality school and pursued a specialization in culinary arts at the Paul Bocuse Institute in France to later work in the most prestigious hotels and restaurants. Ziad is the creator of the ZEEZ menu and is responsible for quality assurance. Filled with energy and passion, you will always see him dedicated to providing the best customer service.

Papa Elie is a master of management and organization with an entrepreneurial career spanning more than 40 years. A pillar of the company, he always ensures that everything is in order and that the shift runs smoothly. In fact, you'll probably see him working on his computer at a ZEEZ table.

ZEEZ's mission is to create moments of pleasure through delicious burgers. Elie and Ziad's goal is not only to offer quality burgers using fresh, homemade ingredients, but also to make them accessible to Montrealers by offering affordable prices. 🧡

Nous avons commandé via Uber eat. Les burgers étaient vraiment bons mais les frites avaient des dépôts brûlés, cela laisse à penser que la friteuse n'est pas lavée. On ne sent que le goût du brûlé & non de la frite. Vraiment dommage...

The new best smash burger in Montreal! Easily accessible on the Mont Royal Ave, steps away from the metro station! Excellent vibes & welcoming staff & owner! Hungry & can't wait for your burger ? Popcorn on the house!! The burgers were just great & the fries are crunchy & so yummy, we'll be trying the rest of the burgers & updating with my favorite one. A must visit, don't forget to ask for the loyalty card 😉

I have been seeing so many ads for this place so decided to come try it out. We ordered the BBQ & the Mushroom burgers & their famous smashed potatoes. The burgers tasted good but the meet was over cooked, with burnt black edges (see photos) & they were really small, one is not enough to make me full As for potatos, it was awful, it was supposed to be smashed & toasted, but it was just potato skins (left overs maybe? ) that were over fried to the level they were dark brown, I could taste charcoal in it. For the portions & quality provided, the place is overpriced, this cost me $35 (no drinks nothing). One good thing is the popcorn idea that they give you while waiting. Overall, not recommended & I don't think I'll go again.

Les rondelles d'oignons étaient en quantité généreuse mais bien trop cuites & semblaient être juste réchauffées. Le pain à burger est bon mais le goût du burger en lui-même m'a dérangée, avec en prime une laitue défraîchie. Définitivement pas le meilleur smash burger de la ville.

Staff is very nice ! Got welcome with popcorn while they finished to prepare everything (we arrived at 2PM!) ! Food is good, the mushroom / truffle burger is delicious. Would recommend if you are looking for authentic burgers. Thanks !

Le propriétaire est très impliqué & passionné, l'ambiance est passable, le cheese burger est bon, particulièrement les patty**, cependant me plain & les autres ingrédients sont simples. Une bonne base, beaucoup de potentiel!!
