With a passion for restaurants and more than 30 years of experience in the food industry, Papa Elie and his son Ziad were able to create a unique family business: ZEEZ.
Ziad began his career at hospitality school and pursued a specialization in culinary arts at the Paul Bocuse Institute in France to later work in the most prestigious hotels and restaurants. Ziad is the creator of the ZEEZ menu and is responsible for quality assurance. Filled with energy and passion, you will always see him dedicated to providing the best customer service.
Papa Elie is a master of management and organization with an entrepreneurial career spanning more than 40 years. A pillar of the company, he always ensures that everything is in order and that the shift runs smoothly. In fact, you'll probably see him working on his computer at a ZEEZ table.

It was one of those gorgeous hot days where all you want is something crispy, saucy, & satisfying… so I took myself on a solo date to Zeez Burger, & they understood the assignment.
I went for the Chili Crisp Burger - 2 smashed patties , crispy house-made onions, & fresh jalapenos that matched the summer feeling. Paired it with their signature Patates Zeez, which were topped with a beef patty , cheddar, & creamy house sauce.
As a sauce girl, I had to dip into a few extras … the truffle mayo was rich & earthy, & the BBQ added a little sweetness that balanced the spice beautifully. (Most of the sauces are house-made too .. love that.)
For dessert, I cooled down with the moka pudding . Creamy & sweet, though I found myself wishing for a little cookie crumble or crunch on top to add some texture.
The staff were lovely, & the soundtrack? Classic throwbacks & oldies - think Michael Jackson & sunny day singalongs.

Le burger chili & celui aux champignons étaient succulents! Frites tendres & croustillantes à souhait! Le service est rapide & l'ambiance chaleureuse, quoi demander de mieux! En dessert, le pouding de moka était divin. Le prix est très raisonnable par rapport à la quantité donnée & la qualité, ce qui est très rare de nos jours dans plusieurs restaurants/fast food. La mère du propriétaire était très aimable avec nous, un vrai rayon de soleil! ☀? C'était notre première expérience à cet endroit, mais pas la dernière! ✨😌 Courez à ce resto sans hésitation pour savourer un bon burger! 🍔
Best burger place. Excellent staff & perfect burgers 10/10 for me for sure. Chili was the one for me; best choice of. My. Life. I will forever remember this meal

We had the Classic double beef , the chili crisp & BBQ beef burger & a smash potato . Highlight was defenetly the chili crisp & the potatos. I can't explain how crispy & yet super juicy the meat is , it's like no other smash burger out there . Absolutly delicious. & the smash potato fries was an awesome new way to have''fries'' , we loved it. I absolutly recommend. If you try the BBQ burger, I suggest you go with the crispy chicken instead of beef.. just a recommendation here ! Both were delicious but there was something about the chicken & the sweet BBQ sauce that just made it more special! Staff & service was also on point Merci Fanny & Allison xxx
Absolutely delicious burgers & poutine! We got the Chili smash burger with fried smashed potatoes & the BBQ crunch wash burger with the classic poutine & everything was delicious! Plenty of parking around, good vibes inside though it's a bit cozy if you dine in!
Really enjoyed this place. Went with a friend. She got the Chili burger (which was recommended by the owner) & I went with the classic. I liked the simplicity of mine but the bite I sampled of my friend's had a nice, light hit of heat. Our burgers more juicy than crispy as you'd expect for a smash burger, but still tasty, so that's not a complaint. But just be aware. As a side we each ordered the smashed potatoes. They generally come with mustard sauce, but I got an extra spicy sauce, & my friend got an extra house sauce (offered at no charge). I would say my favourite was the mustard, spicy & then the house. All 3 were good, so go with your preference. We were offered a sample of the moka pudding (made in-house) which was excellent (assuming you like sweet things). The owner was super friendly & welcoming, which is rare for this type of place. The place is tiny, but they make the most of the space to offer seating. Oh & free (good quality) popcorn. We'll definitely be going back.
I've tried so many burger joints in Montréal, this is definitely my favorite spot. I tried 2 burgers, the chili burger with fried chicken, it had an amazing taste & sauce, & the mushrooms swiss burger, best burger I've had in Montréal, hands down, a must try

As a New Yorker with a discerning palate for burgers, ZEEZ in Montreal truly impressed me. The atmosphere is a perfect blend of modern chic & cozy comfort. I tried the Chili Crisp Burger, & it was phenomenal. The patty was juicy & flavorful, topped with a delightful mix of fresh ingredients & a spicy kick from the chili crisp. The brioche bun held everything together perfectly. The house-made sauces & crispy truffle fries were the perfect accompaniments. The service was friendly & attentive, making the experience even better. ZEEZ is a must-visit for burger lovers. Whether you're a local or a fellow New Yorker, this place is sure to impress!

Friendly smashburger joint featuring delicious, decadent burger creations & sides. Modest interior space is geared more for takeout. The burgers are the star here - the chili crisp is absolutely incredible.
You cannot do better. Period. Excellent food, fast service & best prices. Portions are generous & it stays open late at night which makes it a perfect destination. We ordered two burgers (chili with vegetarian patty & classic), & a "zeez" smashed potatoes which is a specialty of the house. Honestly I never seen such a special & tasty item before in Montreal. The place is also run by amazing & welcoming people. Highly recommended.
