With a passion for restaurants and more than 30 years of experience in the food industry, Papa Elie and his son Ziad were able to create a unique family business: ZEEZ.
Ziad began his career at hospitality school and pursued a specialization in culinary arts at the Paul Bocuse Institute in France to later work in the most prestigious hotels and restaurants. Ziad is the creator of the ZEEZ menu and is responsible for quality assurance. Filled with energy and passion, you will always see him dedicated to providing the best customer service.
Papa Elie is a master of management and organization with an entrepreneurial career spanning more than 40 years. A pillar of the company, he always ensures that everything is in order and that the shift runs smoothly. In fact, you'll probably see him working on his computer at a ZEEZ table.

Guys the popcorn is not necessary it doesn't add anything positive to the experience. The employees are too busy to manage the popcorn & you can see they are irritated managing it. It add to the ambiance of stress caused by the fact that the place is really small & really busy. Not worth it in my humble opinion. Same for the fidelity cards. You have what have it takes, good burgers congrats ❤️
Hi, we were there tonight, the girl who took the order was so friendly & nice, the food was amazing, believe me, we're strict about food, & their meals are amazing! Thy offer free popcorn too. & THEY ARE HALAL.

Zeez is a blessing to the plateau. The burgers are kickass! Great smashburger recipe, the burgers are so well-made. Perfect level of greasiness that will hit just right after a night of drinks. They have some seating available outside but seating will be a challenge here in the winter. I am so impressed by their staff, who are mostly students. No matter how late into the night it is, they always provide the best service. There is even free popcorn while you wait if you are super hungry. I hope this place stays here for a while.
Zeez smash burgers are delicious, but they are a bit too greasy. It made my stomach upset. I would definitely try it again though. Amazing service & I love the popcorn they serve while we wait!
I haven't had such a good smash burger in a long time. Such a great touch giving out free popcorn, it opens the appetite. Staff was also very friendly. Lastly, these prices are great please never change them.

Wicked undercover burger joint. Friendly bloke offered us popcorn in the way in, served a nice truffle & mushroom beef burger. Great gluten free option on smashed potato. Normally the gfree option is half the size, this was double the size
Great people great food great service come here, please! 10/10 recommend. The sauces are out of this world. Free popcorn too! Staff was so kind & generous. Food was so filling could barely finish my plate. Insanely affordable as well. If you want a good burger go to Zeez.

I have tried zeez for a few times now & everytime I went I was impressed with how the staff is welcoming & kind, great customer service! They even give out popcorn while you wait for your burgers! I recommand the mushroom melt & the zeez potatoes! Real smash burgers that are cruspy & juicy at the same time! Perfection.
Extremely delicious burgers, very happy to see halal smash burger in the middle of the plateau. Also loved the complimentary popcorn! Highly recommended!
Genuinely the tastiest burger in Montreal. Furthermore, it's extremely affordable. I've tried all varieties & they're all excellent. However, the chili crisp stands above all. Also, the fries & onion rings are marvelous. However, in the most honest way, sometimes the customer service could be a bit friendlier & welcoming. Initially they would greet us with a big smile & have a big bag of popcorn ready for us. With time, it became less & less welcoming. Regardless, it's still my favorite burger in Montreal. Customer service is easy to improve so Zees gets my 5/5. Will keep going.

We had a BBQ Crunch & a Chilli Crisp burger. Both smash burgers cooked really well, nice ratio of sauce. Brioche bun was fine. Also had some popcorn. Server was really friendly despite them being rammed & having a large order & lots of people walking in
What more should I say about a place that serves complimentary popcorn before serving every customer. Did I mention they offer a 20% student discount Burger was so good I ordered another one Amazing service,staff are really nice & helpful They have the craziest sauces Bbq burger > any burger in the whole world Smashed potato's are iconic
Classic Smash cheeseburgers were awesome, smashed potatoes are a must. The owner's mom is a sweetheart & gave me a chocolate coffee pudding to try on the house & a free bag of popcorn. Pleasant staff. You can't go wrong.
burgers were very yummy. really liked the zeez potatoes. very unique service was fast. complimentary popcorn was nice :) open quite late, bless them would come back
