Ziad began his career at hospitality school and pursued a specialization in culinary arts at the Paul Bocuse Institute in France to later work in the most prestigious hotels and restaurants. Ziad is the creator of the ZEEZ menu and is responsible for quality assurance. Filled with energy and passion, you will always see him dedicated to providing the best customer service.

Their smash burgers live up to their name: SMASH BURGER 💥 you can see the crispiness on the edge of the patties . They made their right choice of lettuce, with a great touch of their special sauce. I tried all of their burgers & I can say their truffle mushroom burger was out of this world! For the price & quality, you are winning. What I appreciated the most is the consistency of their food. Twice already, one in the evening, another at noon, still the same burger as I first had. Wish I had pictures of them, I was so famished , i forgot to take them.... Another excuse to go back!

Really good burger spot (A MUST TRY IN MTL AS ITS DARE I SAY THE BEST SMASH BURGER SPOT). Amazing customer service AMAZING FOOD must try the mushroom & Zeez potatoes they are heavenly.
Wicked undercover burger joint. Friendly bloke offered us popcorn in the way in, served a nice truffle & mushroom beef burger. Great gluten free option on smashed potato. Normally the gfree option is half the size, this was double the size
I have tried zeez for a few times now & everytime I went I was impressed with how the staff is welcoming & kind, great customer service! They even give out popcorn while you wait for your burgers! I recommand the mushroom melt & the zeez potatoes! Real smash burgers that are cruspy & juicy at the same time! Perfection.
Amazing staff, great quality ingredients they have a small menu which made it easy to try all the burgers & all were delicious my favourite is definitely the mushroom one its insane plus they gave us a dessert to try for free at the end. 1000% recommend this place!!
BE CAREFUL! I HAD AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE. It was a Wednesday night at about 11:30. We thought why not try this place for a quick midnight snack. I should not have come. There were two guys in there, severely understaffed for the amount of incoming orders. Nothing was cooking but papers of orders & Ubers were stacking up. We waited about 45 minutes for what you see in this picture. I don't like being mean in reviews but my god this was not edible (& I did not eat it) The mushroom burger was dry & sloppily put together, I mean look at it, it tasted so greasy & heavy I could not finish it. I had MUNCHIES could not finish. The fries were dry & the dipping sauce it came with actually had the aftertaste of vomit. I'm not exaggerating, that's what I described to my friend. The poutine ? Tabarnak man c'est insultant qu'on estokebecicitte pi que la poutine soit si bland. Please lord. There are great reviews on this resto. I'm assuming this is a bad experience on an understaffed night with no time to cook up a meal that is acceptable. Again I feel bad with this review cause the guys working seemed stressed & overwhelmed. They don't pay yall enough to deal with what you dealt with this Wednesday night. But bro, this is my experience. To all readers just be careful when you order here. I genuinely regret the 27$ I spent on this bad food that I ended up THROWING OUT & going to AnW down the street. 3 stars so that it doesn't negatively affect rating but I would give 0 stars if I was honest

Best smash burger in Montreal, the mushroom, chilli burger, & smashed fries are amazing!! Plus the guy is always super friendly & accommodating. Highly recommended
Amazing smash burger, small space but enough seats for some customers. The complimentary popcorn while your food is being prepared is a great little gimmick. The mushroom melt & the classic burgers were sooo good, juicy but not just grease.
Nice place. The service is fast, there's complementary popcorn, a student discount & a buy 4 get 1 free stamp card. I got the chili crisp burger & my boyfriend got the mushroom burger. I personally liked the mushroom burger more, I was expecting something bigger from the chili crisp, & I found that it was quite greasy. We also got the smashed potatoes, they were good. Other than that a great experience, fast service even though we were there during a rush! Also they have hand wipes for when you're done eating :)
La vague des smash burgers déferle désormais sur Montréal & de nombreuses adresses ont fait leur apparition ou ont vu leur popularité décupler. Je parle, bien sûr, de Chez Simon Cantine Urbaine, Mange dans mon hood, l'Hamburger & j'en passe. Porté par l'ultime houle, le Zeez est le petit (littéralement) dernier à accoster au quai de la métropole & il ne lésine pas sur les moyens pour se faire remarquer : sac de maïs soufflé gratuit pour tous, prix compétitifs (de 9 à 11 $ pour le sandwich, ajoutez de 6 à 8 $ de plus pour un trio), décors accrocheurs & festifs avec enseignes au néon, &, surtout, un hambourgeois à la sauce percutante & à la galette parfaitement croustillante. Autant de caractère désirable qui ne manque pas de se faire remarquer par les jeunes à l'affût des dernières tendances, comme en témoigne cette jeune paire de critiques culinaires, lumière & appareil photo à la main, venue décortiquer l'ensemble du menu. J'y ai donc amené mon amie qui ne sait jamais refuser un hambourgeois &, nos esprits animés par l'honorable prestation de notre repas, notre connivence a affleuré, soulevée par nos rires & nos regards complices. Bien que nous eussions goulument englouti l'ensemble - sandwich, poutine, frites (offertes par la maison !), boisson gazeuse, nous nous sommes attardés sur place, profitant de l'ambiance agréable & de la relative quiétude de l'endroit pour un brin de jasette & une séance photo pour immortaliser notre camaraderie. Alors, tout est beau, hein ! Presque. D'abord, après observation des habitudes des clients, il faudrait voir si la portion de maïs soufflé en entrée est trop... généreuse. Pour éviter les gaspillages ! Ensuite, le type de frites utilisé, croquant & assaisonné, convient moins à une poutine que les frites molles traditionnelles. Puis, l'offre de boisson est très limitée : Canada Dry, Crush, Sprite, Coca-Cola ou une bouteille d'eau. Introduire un produit plus local ne serait pas une vilaine idée. Je regrette enfin l'usage de l'anglais utilisé pour paraître plus désinvolte & jeune. « Let's Get Smashed » énonce le néon. Autrement dit : « Défonçons-nous ». Sur le menu, les produits sont annoncés par les titres soi-disant accrocheurs « Mushroom Melt », « Chilly Crisp » & « BBQ Crunch ». À force de renforcer l'idée que l'anglais est plus séduisant, on finit par y croire. C'est ennuyeux & ça manque d'audace. Osons le français ! (À titre personnel, je n'ai rien contre l'anglais que j'utilise quotidiennement.) Pourquoi ne pas appeler les « smash burgers » des... croque-bourgeois ? « Zeez, les meilleurs croque-bourgeois du Plateau ! » Voilà qui ne manquerait pas d'attirer l'attention.
I have been seeing so many ads for this place so decided to come try it out. We ordered the BBQ & the Mushroom burgers & their famous smashed potatoes. The burgers tasted good but the meet was over cooked, with burnt black edges (see photos) & they were really small, one is not enough to make me full As for potatos, it was awful, it was supposed to be smashed & toasted, but it was just potato skins (left overs maybe? ) that were over fried to the level they were dark brown, I could taste charcoal in it. For the portions & quality provided, the place is overpriced, this cost me $35 (no drinks nothing). One good thing is the popcorn idea that they give you while waiting. Overall, not recommended & I don't think I'll go again.
Staff is very nice ! Got welcome with popcorn while they finished to prepare everything (we arrived at 2PM!) ! Food is good, the mushroom / truffle burger is delicious. Would recommend if you are looking for authentic burgers. Thanks !
