Ziad began his career at hospitality school and pursued a specialization in culinary arts at the Paul Bocuse Institute in France to later work in the most prestigious hotels and restaurants. Ziad is the creator of the ZEEZ menu and is responsible for quality assurance. Filled with energy and passion, you will always see him dedicated to providing the best customer service.
Papa Elie is a master of management and organization with an entrepreneurial career spanning more than 40 years. A pillar of the company, he always ensures that everything is in order and that the shift runs smoothly. In fact, you'll probably see him working on his computer at a ZEEZ table.
ZEEZ's mission is to create moments of pleasure through delicious burgers. Elie and Ziad's goal is not only to offer quality burgers using fresh, homemade ingredients, but also to make them accessible to Montrealers by offering affordable prices. 🧡
Zeez is a small, lively spot known for its smash burgers made with fresh ingredients and house made sauces, with standout options like mushroom melt, chili crisp, mushroom and swiss, and BBQ that many describe as among the best in Montreal. Free popcorn greets customers and the service is repeatedly praised as friendly, fast, and attentive even during busy times. The vibe is casual and welcoming, with limited seating that can make it feel crowded but adds to the cozy neighborhood feel, and outdoor seating is available when the weather is right. Prices are affordable and there are student discounts and a loyalty style program that offers a free burger after several visits. The menu is small but offers generous portions, good fries and smashed potatoes, and several reviewers applaud vegetarian and halal options. Overall, it is described as a standout in Montreal for smash burgers, a go to late night option, and a place many plan to return to.
The burger is really good but employees are kids that get lost making orders. Place is so small you have to fight with people to get your order! Too bad as the way they make the smash burger is unique but the service is worst then McDonalds!
