The best fried chicken I've eaten since the now closed Dinette Triple Crown in Montreal. The chicken is so tender on the inside & crispy on the outside… incredible. The signatures sauces & the chicken tenders are to die for. That was my first & definitely not my last stop at Yakyu. Eric, his wife & staff are friendly & welcoming. Love the logo & backstory, long live Yakyu!!!
Fresh, tasty food, friendly service! The owner Eric was really hospitable. So awesome that it was halal too, thank you. I live in the US now & every year when I come back to visit family, I need my poutine fix. This is my new favourite spot! :-)

The fried chicken here may be the best on the south shore of Montreal! Fries are great, their homemade sauce is amazing. All around, I would recommend this establishment to anyone who likes chicken!

WOW… incredible chicken
Visiting Montreal for the first time from Scotland & this was round the corner from our accommodation & we were so glad we popped in for dinner. Some of the best chicken I've ever had & the poutine was really good too. The homemade sauces are also excellent, especially the hot sauce. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Je suis revenu à cette place parce que j'ai aimé leurs nourriture & service. Mais cette fois c'est très spécial car je suis arrivé à 21h01 pour commander en ignorant que le restaurant ferme à 21h00.
Malgré ça ils m'ont accueilli & pris ma commande.
Je suis tellement content que cette place fasse du vrai business en valorisant les valeurs humaines.

Meilleur poulet au Quebec. Je viens de loin & je ne regrette pas d'avoir fais 1h30 de route pour goûter à ce poulet EXTRAORDINAIRE. Je suis haitien & je dois dire que je suis satisfait de la qualité du poulet
