Review Summary

Wing Phat is a go to for many diners who praise its flavorful and varied Asian menu, generous portions, fast service, and consistently high quality that keeps guests coming back year after year. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are friendly and efficient, and the BYOB option adds value for large groups and celebrations. Reviews describe fresh, tasty dishes across a broad selection, with favorites such as noodle dishes, imperial rolls, soups, and seafood, all offered at prices that represent good value for the portion sizes. The restaurant is noted for its busy, lively vibe and clean, comfortable setting, making it a reliable staple for families, friends, and special occasions. While a few dishes are mentioned as occasionally uneven or pricey, the overall impression is one of dependability, generosity, and satisfying flavors that make Wing Phat stand out in Montreal's Asian dining scene.

If you're in the area, you must stop by Wing Fat.

My go-to is the #96-the fried chicken strips with soya sauce (or something along those lines). Simple, but incredibly good & always hits the spot.

The place is clean, the staff is nice & very efficient, & service is quick-perfect for both lunch or dinner. It's also great for groups, & if I'm not mistaken, you can bring your own wine, which makes it even better.

A really solid spot in the neighborhood. Definitely worth a stop.

Take out dinner on Saturday, was ready on time & just cooked! Good service. My rating for our food choices: the Imperial Rolls had a very small filling quantity & were papery. The flavor was bland. Fried Calamari: excellent , more spicy vegetables would be perfection! Rice Noodles with Beef & Chinese Brocoli: I have eaten this plate here & there for 30 + years & the flavor nowadays is absolutely not the same: there is almost NO flavor, the typical taste of Oyster Sauce &/or douchi - black beans - or what it was that made it unique is now absent. This is no longer an authentic dish, almoste flavorless. I am very disappointed....where shall I go to eat truly generously filled Egg Rolls & unique recipes such as the Rice Noodles in sauce? Please revise your recipe, only more flavour is needed; the noodles, vegetable & beef are
fresh & good.

Service rapide & excellents plats. Bon appetit!

We had seafood fried rice, oyster sauce duck, eggplant & a pad thai plate with drinks. Staff was easy going & the atmosphere comfortable despite how busy it was. We loved the eggplant but thought the duck was dry (still tasted good). The waiter with longish hair & glasses was my type, I should have complimented him. The waitress who billed us was chill too. Would go again. Note: only putting 3 star on service just to mean it was easygoing & not stressful which is good, not that it was bad service.

I took the grilled chicken on top of white rice with fish sauce. I was disappointed. The food arrived really fast so I was suspicious. The crust of the chicken was hard & chewy. The fish sauce was unbalanced in flavors, it was too sweet & lacked the actual "fishy" taste. The portions are huge, even if you take the smallest size option. It's not worth it, it's quantity over quality.

The Good: - Decent prices - Variety of menu options - Fast service The Not So Good: - Basic flavors that lacked finesse - Their general tao was one of their best selling was overwhelmingly sweet with thick sauce - Their noodles are overcooked
