Very tranquil place to pick apples, not too busy. The staff is nice & mindful about not wasting food. Plus they have a cute little shop with baked goods & cider.
Went last weekend & there were barely any apples to pick. The apples that were available had large black spots or worm holes. Slim pickings & the season just started.
This is a lovely orchard but be prepared to spend $100+ for a family of 4. $5 Entry fee per person. $45 to be able to pick one bag of'premium' apples, $25 for regular. The labyrinth? Additional cost of $15/20 per.

What a nice little orchard near Montreal. We had a good time apple picking. You can check out their website & Facebook page to know which apple varieties are ready to pick. We visited at the end of August, & they had Paula Red, Lobo & Ginger Gold apples. There's a maize maze, a little farm & a scavenger hunt in the woods. I enjoyed seeing the sunflowers. 🌻
It's a bit pricey, but I'm happy to support a local business. It's all organic, too!
We had a wonderful afternoon in the corn maze & picking apples. The games in the maze were much appreciated, & really added a fun challenge for kids of all ages 😀 Delicious abundant apples & a super friendly team. Definitely a winning orchard.
When apple picking for the first time, & I must say, at Verger Labonté the staffs are friendly ,amazing & easy to talk to, but the apple farm is remarkable with 35 different varieties. There's a mini pet farm & several play structures for different ages. Verger Labonté staff Works extremely hard to keep their surroundings clean & the farm is 100% organic. You must visit there!
We had a corporate event here, & it went extremely smoothly. The staff were very helpful, & flexible with us & our group. We were given an area reserved just for our group, & we were offered to have the tractor come & pick up our group exclusively. The apples & pumpkins were amazing, & everything is 100% organic! I went apple picking with my 22 month old & my partner. We arrived , 2 guides working strictly on parking duty guided us & we managed to get a spot inside. Entrance is about $5.50 per adult & under 3 years old it's free. Then you pay per big or small bag. For regular apples it's a certain price. For higher grade apples called « selection » you pay a different price. Depending on what you pay, you will pick in different sections. I decided to purchase 2 big bags. I make apple sauce for my little one. Total was about $85. We left the stroller & the baby's bag in the designated area, but you do not have to. & upon our return after apple picking the stroller & the bag were still there. We went on the tractor, went down in a section for people who purchased the « selection » bags. I ate at least 3 apples on the spot to decide on the ones i liked best, lots of ladders, lots of apples on the trees, some apples low, some high. Lots of apples on the ground too but hey that's what apple picking is about. We ran out of time but they also have a pumpkin patch. You pay per pumpkin from what i understood. Anyhow, after picking apples we hopped back on the tractor, went to the little farm they have in the front to see the chicken, bunnies, donkey, ducks & goats. Goat food can be purchased, it's a handful for 30 cents. My toddler enjoyed running & watching the ducks. There's also a little play area with 2 slides, climbing area, 1 small car & lots of tables & benches to have a picnic. We didn't need to go to the bathroom so i cannot comment on that. After feeding the goats, we passed by the little boutique & purchased some apple muffins, apple cider, tarts & apple butter. Total was around $80.They also have ice cream, frozen soup. All in all, we were very happy about our first time there & will definitely go back! Btw all the apples are organic. Yeah sure the prices are high compared to simply buying apples at the grocery store & afterall we are doing the labour by picking the apples but it's all about the experience. The farm also has it's own costs about maintenance, employees, etc.
